Went there on recommendation of a friend, and honestly it was the best decision I ever made. I have been a regular visitor now and their food has just been the best in Dehradun🤌🏻❤️ I have taken my family and friends also here multiple times and every single person is impressed by their food, the authenticity, the quality of food, the comfort, everything is top notch‼️ I’m a big pyaaz kachori lover and I’ve had it at multiple places but I have to say Rajasthani Zaika makes it the best. The Kachori as well as the Sabji has to be tried, don’t miss out on it🫶🏻 The Dal Bati Churma Thali is also so so good, the flavour are exceptionally good, everything is just perfect❤️ I’ve tried multiple other items as well, the Moong Dal Pakoda, Tea, Cold Coffee and they never miss out on the taste. If I could recommend just one food place in Dehradun to all tourists, this would be it!🤌🏻 The owners are so so kind and welcoming, the place is extremely pretty and homely. I would definitely keep coming back to them...
Read moreI went on a tour of Jaipur and Jaisalmer a few years back and realized that Rajasthani Cuisine is really wonderful. However, back here in Dehradun, there were no outlets offering authentic rajasthani food. Once I came to know about Zaika's rajasthani food, I was sceptical if they were serving authentic rajasthani food. One visit to the place cleared all my doubts. The food served was authentic rajasthani food topped with the goodness of being home made. We tried Pyaz Kachori, Dal Kachori and Daal Baati thali. It’s the best rajasthani food I’ve had so far. The baati was so soft and tasted heavenly. We even got a small tutorial on how to eat daal baati from the owner himself. Sir was so accommodating and gentle that it felt like eating at our own place. We also liked the “lehsun ki chatni” and “chhach”. Overall it was a 5 star experience and I will definitely go back for more. Thank you Zaika for bringing the real rajasthani...

Not really a fan of dal baati churma but the food here tasted so homely yet tasty. Not too much of ghee as we see in other traditional rajasthani restaurant but the food tasted really good sans that.
The owner himself was serving with such love and warmth it really made my day.
Special mention to the lahsun ki chutney and mango achaar which were again homely but absolutely lip smacking and complemented the food so well. Which otherwise was a little on the blander side but certainly was tasted sans any extra spice or chilli heat.
The daal baati thali takes at least 15 minutes to be served but the ambience is sweet enough to keep you calm and at peace.
I took a thepla butter + boondi raita and a dal kachori for my lady and she absolutely loved it.
Can't wait to go back with...
