Queen's Meadow Hotel — Hotel in Uttarakhand

A good hotel, spacious. Staff is young and courteous. ||Also known as Mayur hotel. ||||Location: Bang on the state roadways station. ||||Cost is slightly higher. Given this is a season time, it’s understandable. And it was seen in the tone of the manager when I asked for a discount. ||||They have a restaurant in the same premise with the name of Mayur restaurant. Serves both veg and non veg food. For people strictly vegetarian /Jain, they suggest to a nearby hotel (raj I think), which I found a good gesture. ||||Parking: they have a parking on main road nearby. So not a dedicated and secured parking. ||||Food is ok. We tried 3 chicken dishes and there were more bone and less meat. It appeared that they have been stripped chicken meat off for boneless dish and what left was served for dishes with bones. ||Food is not costly. The place is decent enough, rooms are also okayish. But the problem is that they are a bit small as for the price tag that they come with. 2k+ per room is not what it's worth. The views are now obstructed by a construction on the other side of the building. Additionally, their kitchen offers basic food like Maggi only. I had to get packed food from outside because I was travelling with my nephew and they refused to offer plates saying we should get it from the place we ordered food. They only came up with plates when we ordered Maggi for ourselves. The manager's behaviour is good, but again overall service is not upto the standards. There's hardly any ventilation in the rooms. Bottomline is, this place shouldn't come with the price tag it is...

Hotel location was very good. You will find all the necessary items just outside the hotel as it is situated near bus stand ( market area ). View from the room was excellent, you can see himalaya from room itself ( provided if you book view rooms which is available back side of the hotel ). This hotel is a new property, hence all the rooms and washrooms are clean and nicely maintained, but hotel rooms are very small and have some lack of basic amenities, Eg. Tables, other basic furniture etc. Wash room was also small but clean. Only issue was no taps are available in washroom except a head shower, Basin. Staffs were good and polite. Food quality was average. So overall it was an average stay...
