The hotel in itself is within the city and its is Bang in the center of a old complex. From outside it is hard to notice the hotel and secondly even if you get it, it's access is weird. It's in between a cluster of small shops and you will have to ask someone for the way for sure. Once you get it, then you climb all the way up to the 4th floor, which again is tough enough. Have been to hotel Appayan quite a few times for various occasions. Every time I found the food yummy. The behavior of the staff very polite. They have a sitting area on their rooftop just outside the banquet hall. This area attracts me a lot. If you are a person who loves to click pictures, you will definitely love this area. Earlier they didn't have lift facility. So reaching their banquet hall on the 4th floor was painful. But now they have installed lift.
