Hotel Kanan Inn — Hotel in West Bengal

I booked a deluxe suite room in this hotel and my experiences are, When I entered the room on the first day at night, I saw a sticky layer on the floor, if you don't move carefully you will fall, I asked them to clean it, after they cleaned it, it remained sticky. One day I ordered tea and they gave me the tea on a cup plate, so while I was having the tea I saw a drop of tea from the bottom of the cup, which fell on my dress as well as the bed sheet, then I realized that the plate was a little bit. There was tea and it was sticking to the cup and falling down. Now the interesting thing is that when I checked out the receptionist (a woman) asked me to wait to check the room if everything is fine, then she told me sir there were two drops of tea on the bed sheet and on the pillow cover. You have to pay a fine of 500 rupees for this, I told her the reality they won't listen, I have to pay them 500 rupees for cleaning, I was in a hurry for my flight, so I paid them without saying anything. When I order some food it takes a lot of time to get ready, like I ordered tea one day and it took 50 minutes to call them many times and then I got the tea. When I booked the room it was clearly maintained that you can bring outside food, on the second day it tells me that you cannot bring outside food to the hotel. The hotel is not peaceful at all, after I locked the door of the room and stayed inside, I could still hear the shouts of people outside, there is an elevator outside the room that plays music, and I could hear the sound of this music all night and that's why I couldn't sleep at night. Had few hours layover in Kolkata and i booked this property as it is close to Airport. The location of property is just 10mins drive from airport but it is in a narrow lane, so going in and out through cab can be really challenging in busy afternoon time. Checkin was smooth. Rooms are spacious and clean but lack some basic necessities, like soap, there was one dispenser which you have to use for hand-wash and body-wash. Only one bottle of water was provided and that too 500ml. These all are still manageable but I was really disappointed by staff as they were after my life after 11, I understand their checkout time is 11 am but since I checked in at 6am same morning, I politely requested the guy at reception to give me 20mins extra to vacant the room to which he said yes, but surprisingly they switched off the power of aircons and sent his security person within 2mins to let me know that its 11am and I should vacant the room!! This was totally not expected and very disappointing. Can understand that we should abide by timings but hotels which are used for transit purposes are more flexible and 20mins isn’t a big deal.
