The warm reception given on arrival before the check in time for all the thirteen members on 12/05/18 by Shri Rajeev Rastogi has given the first impression of their hospitality "ADHITHI DEVO BHAVA ". All four rooms in first floor and one room in second floor were given to us. All rooms are very spacious and the linen are afresh. The night dinner was so tasty even the two children enjoyed the food. All senior citizens in the group were too happy with the food and the manner in which it was served. Please note that the food is prepared only on specific orders from the room occupants and requires minimum 40 minutes for the preparation. Coffee/Tea etc. was given to us by early morning on 13th May 2018. Poori and Potato Baaji was so nice and served hot. They are so helpful and with a smiling face always, took care of us very nicely. It is a budget hotel and we booked this as it was at the later part of our Darjeeling trip and we wanted to keep the overall expenses within the limit. There was an apprehension as it was a long time since we stayed in a budget hotel. We were 6 people and booked 2 rooms.||I must say we had a nice stay in the hotel. The hotel manager was very helpful. He went extra miles to cater to our needs. One example was rearranging the furniture so that we can eat together in the room, or for putting mattresses. The hotel offers wi-fi in the lobby through Airtel wireless dongle. But, the manager gave us the dongle to use it in our room. The hotel check-out time is 11:00 AM - but he allowed us to stay (in a different room) till 3:00 PM although the hotel was almost full and guests were coming in. The icing on the cake was the jolly nature of the manager.
