Where to start...||||We were two couples, for the same price we have got different rooms, one smaller than the other one. ||||No carpet for the shower. ||||The window was cracked. ||||The shower is in the room, together with the toilet, divided by the rest of the room by a thin glass wall (quite common in Indonesia). The door is on the side of the shower. No way to use the toilet without doing a mess once you had a shower. Moreover the door does not close properly, expect water in the room if you take a shower. ||||Our reservation clearly stated that we had breakfast included. When the night before we asked the reception where to go for breakfast, they answered us we could have nasi goreng to take away from the 5 star hotel in front of us. This is clearly not breakfast. If the reservation says breakfast included I expect to sit down at a table and drink and eat something (whatever it is). I had to explain this to the receptionists, and it was a long discussion, due to the poor english they spoke. However, the morning after we had breakfast in the five star hotel in front of ours, and it was really good. ||||Only one electrical outlet in the room, with naked wire. I don't even wanna comment further. ||||Finally, at the ground floor there is a bar. I am not sure if it is part of the hotel property, but in any case you have to pass by it to access the hotel. It is literally full of prostitutes hanging out with tourists. ||||Poor wifi connection. Moreover you have to login manually every time with username and password. Got my bf booked me this room from traveloka, good looking photos so we're interested in staying here. When we finally arrived, it was below my expectation. Room is extremely small for $30 esp in Indonesia. No breakfast. No hot water shower (which you need the most after joining a nightlife access). You can see a sink whenever you wake up from your sleep since it is beside your bed. Yeah your bed. You deserve much better hotel than this for $30 in Indonesia. Stayed here with the family but needed two rooms for the three of us. Bedrooms are very tiny and only the width of the bed length. Massive mirrors make the room feel a bit weird. Toilet and shower are OK but very thin walled, sink is in the main room. No breakfast and for some reason they demanded a Rp 100,000 cash deposit. It's OK if you're only on your way through town although due to Balikpapan roads you have to travel a fair way into town before you can turn around and get to the airport.
