Summer Hills Hotel & Villas — Hotel in Bandung City

Pro(s) spacious 2 bedroom unit, 2nd fl relatively new building equipped with dining table set, kitchen set and sink, plus MICROWAVE great shower with hot water

Con(s) family unit on the 2nd floor, not suitable for elderly and for those with heavy suitcase, no lift only stairs beyond bedrooms, unit is mostly dusty, ie kitchen and seatings in the balcony for a 2 bedroom unit with 4 guests, there was only 1 tea cup, despite the fact there was kettle and ready to use tea and coffee. No utensils, no plates, no spoon, no fork etc "NO OUTSIDE FOOD ALLOWED", fine is IDR 500K. This is a super weird rule for a hotel, the first time I see this in a hotel. no tissue paper in any of the room, only tissue roll in the toilet location: in a residential area, the street gate is closed at 9PM so your taxi will stop there and you'll walk around 200m to the hotel limited selection of breakfast, no eggs station, no sausage, no nasi goreng. They had: white rice with cooked chicken, tofu, tempeh, chicken porridge, bread butter n jam, pudding, watermelon, fruit juice, coffee n tea. Oh, "kerupuk" too the edc was not working be it debit or credit card, so we had to pay cash in full

Bottomline: not...

Very very bad experience with this hotel.... There is a lot of lamps that broken and not being replaced until you asked The cleaness for the bed sheet (make my family itchi), towel, pillow sheet, glass is very bad They need to have some renovation to this place There is a lot of sign that say no food and drink from outside penalty Rp. 500.000, bed splitting Rp. 500.000 and smoking Rp. 5 million. I never see this sign in other hotel. I use the shower tap in the 2nd day of may stay and you know what, the shower tap is broke (i don't use force to use the shower tap), we already talk to the hotel management about what happen, and they said we don't need to pay for the damaged. We think that this problem is solved but after we want to check out, the hotel charged me for 400 rb for the damaged (we see they changed the shower tap with not the new spare part, what!!!) we argued with the hotel reception about what happen. You should be carefull, in my opinion there is a lot of think that is already old and rusty and make them so vulnerable. Don't let them make you pay for something that already vulnerable from the first time.

With these experience i definitely Never come to this...

Let me start with what I like about this place.||1. The two bedroom apartment is large, bright and airy.||2. Love the ambience, tranquility of the place - very green and peaceful in quiet, residential area.||3. Love the two bunnies. Please build a bigger pen.Love the koi pond too.||4. Nice and cool in the mornings, balcony is great for relaxing with a cup of coffee.||5. Air cond works great and beds are comfy.||6. Staff are very polite and friendly.||||What needs improving:||1. Leaky toilet spray. Shower head shot water in every direction instead of down.||2. Toilet bowl was dirty, tiles and floor need serious scrubbing.||3. Nice, big pool but water was not very clean. With goggles on, one can see all kinds of debris and white particles in the water. Water was also seriously cold.||4. No spoons to stir coffee and no detergent to wash the mugs afterwards.||5. No iron or hair dyer.||6. Wifi - keeps disconnecting.||||Breakfast and meals were ok. Overall, a great place to be if you need peace and quiet to finish your book, thesis...
