It's good if you want to max out on a comfortable and chic venue but it's not good if your purpose is to dine with people here. Got myself a Crêpes Suzette and a matcha latte. The matcha latte was great. Not grainy at all. Very smooth, not too "grassy" and not too sweet. But the Crêpes Suzette was kind of disappointing. Don't get me wrong. I love the level of tartness the Suzette has. Love the texture of the crêpes, it's fluffy and moist but I think it lacks some oomph element to it. I'd prefer it if the Suzette has some element of bitterness to it, some sort of astringency like biting into the skin of an orange. Maybe it's just me but the Suzette that I had fell flat.
Tried my cousin's chicken schnitzel, the chicken smells. It's not spoiled. Not at all. I just think that you should try marinating it a little longer in yoghurt/milk mixed with some tangerine/lemon peels to eliminate the odor. The fries are way too salted, by the way and the mustard cream sauce is a bit too runny for my liking. I don't even know if it's tar tar or mustard cream. If it's tar tar, I don't taste any dill or any distinct sourness that comes with it. If it's mustard cream, I don't taste the pungency of the mustard. Maybe it's lemon cream? But I also can't sense the citrus-y element to it.
Anyways, great place for ibu - ibu arisan and corporate brunches. Not a great place for a hearty dinner....

There are outdoor seatings and they are quite secluded from the street by foliage. There are also seatings inside a glass house. Since it's summer and was a bit hot, head inside for a open and breezy indoor seating. The cafe is part of a hotel, so there were some hotel guests having their breakfast there also. The food is good. The poached eggs were perfection (it's hard to pull off a perfectly cooked poached egg). We only had breakfast here. The coffee is good. Not too light but dont expect a bold kind here. We tried viatnamese drip, caramel latte, coffee brulee and magic (a bolder version of cappuccino). Do try the magic & caramel latte.
As for the food, we ordered waffle, which is good, not unfortunately not too crunchy as I usually like. My suggestion is, order the kid's menu. It got really big portion with sausage, mashed potato, salad, spaghetti, fruits, waffel, chicken katsu. Definitely enough...
