I had the opportunity to stay at Rattan Inn Hotel Banjarmasin, and overall, the experience was very pleasant. My first impression was of a clean and comfortable room. The amenities, while basic, were sufficient to meet essential needs and contributed positively to the stay.

One of the hotel's strong points is its spacious parking area, which provides great convenience for guests with private vehicles. The location is also strategic—easily accessible from both the city center and the airport. Equally commendable is the hospitality of the hotel staff, who were consistently friendly, responsive, and demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility throughout my stay.

The breakfast experience deserves special recognition. The variety was impressive, the flavors delightful, and everything was well-arranged. This became one of the highlights of my stay. In addition, both the check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient, ensuring a hassle-free arrival and departure.

That said, there are a few areas that could benefit from attention and improvement. In my room, the sink leaked when the stopper was engaged—a minor issue, but one that, if addressed promptly, would enhance guest comfort.

Public facilities, such as the corridor access doors, should also be regularly checked to ensure they function properly and close securely without obstruction, maintaining privacy and safety. The lobby area, while functional, felt somewhat constrained. Despite the ample parking space available, some vehicles were left parked in the main driveway, limiting access and making it more difficult for other guests to enter or exit their vehicles conveniently at the lobby entrance.

I recently stayed at Hotel Rattan Inn in Banjarmasin for six nights. Overall, my experience at the hotel was a mix feeling. Upon checking in, we were assigned to a room in the old building. Unfortunately, the bathroom in that room was dirty and need much forces to close the door which was quite disappointing. On the 3rd night we decided to upgrade our room. The Grand Deluxe room in the newer building was much better and cleaner. One downside of the new room was the noisy air conditioning. It was quite bothersome and affected our sleep quality. We promptly contacted the hotel staff to have it fixed. Although we requested a service, it was somewhat delayed, and they only addressed the issue the following day. This delay was a bit inconvenient, as we had hoped for a more prompt response.

On the positive side, the breakfast at Hotel Rattan Inn offered a decent variety of choices. While it wasn't particularly spectacular, it provided sufficient options to start the day.
