RAJAKLANA Resort And Spa Jogja — Hotel in Bantul Regency

The nature view from the acommodation is beautiful, and so is the resort itself. There are lots of birds, butterflies and sounds of nature all around. The employees are very kind and most of them speak English well. The flying wooden cabin, we stayed in, was clean and looked great. We liked the served breakfast in our own cabin in the mornings. The pool gave a stunning view over the surroundings and the water was nice and cool. A suggestion would be te create a small bar to order a drink and enjoy even more. There are a few restaurants near that are worth visiting. For example we had lunch at Jiwajawi Jogja, the food and the garden where absolutely amazing! We went there by free mountainbikes from the resort, this was a bit heavy but fun and good way to see the local life. One night we had dinner at the restaurant of the acommandation itself and brought there by a free shuttle. The food was good, however it took a long time before they had a table free for us, at least 45 minutes we had to wait. Because there where cleaning everything from the (ramadan) shift first. That was a bit disappointing, but not a big deal.

Through the resort we booked a taxi tour to see Borobudur and Prambanan. The driver was friendly and drove save. We didn't like the dinner part of the tour, the driver brought us to "tourist" restaurants where we were all alone. We had strongly prefered local restaurants. However the food was good. We absolutley recommend the taxitour but then ask the driver to go to other places to eat food (personal opinion).

We had an amazing time at this beautiful place and recommend it to everyone that want to see the touristic places around Yogjakarta, but want to stay in more quiet and natural...

Finally, we arrived in Jogja. As it was the weekend and we didn't want to be in the middle of the crowd of the city, we tried to find a hotel in kind of in remote area. ||Well, too bad, out of our expectations, this hotel was full in capacity with a lot of kids. I didn't have many complaints regarding the room itself. The room is very spacious, traditional built, open-space bathroom, good AC, and good lighting inside the room as well. Water heater and water pressure were fine. For the wifi, it was hopeless, because we had to bear with non-wifi for our stay there. Thank God it was only 1 night. ||Actually they are 18 units in the hotel area. We were at Halmahera unit. Each unit has its own patio. However, since it is a traditional building with open space bathroom, we could hear neighbor's noise. Too bad, we had to listen the kid crying next door before our sleep at night and traffic noise that I didn't know if there was a road behind our unit. ||Breakfast was delivered to our room. The common area such as pool and sitting area are cozy with a lot of palm trees. ||Restaurant and spa room are in different location. The hotel offers shuttle for free to transport the guest from/to hotel and restaurant/spa room. We tried the massage in the spa room. It was a great experience. An open space facing to little forest with tons of trees. Just back to the nature while doing the couples massage.||Restaurant is also an open space area. They have family cottages in this area with swimming pool as well. Guess this area is more suitable for guests coming with kids though. ||But, anyway, we were having good times with the...

I had a wonderful experience at Rajaklana Resort. Breathtaking resort when you walk in. Friendly staff with accommodating, hospitable & service oriented. Beautiful atmosphere inside and outside around the resort. Property is fantastic with wooden time charm. It was even better than my expectations.The resort is well maintained. The food is superb and ambience in the restaurant was amazing. ( Roof top ) I enjoyed every single view of the sunrise ! They have the view of the sunset on upper side of the resort. Relaxing massage & spa. . Overall service was exceptional as well. Service knowledge by staff ( Doni ) front desk given a thumbs ups. Top notch service as always . The staff consistently making sure I was comfortable & always available when I making quires. Please( Rajaklana) give your staff awards for their services!

Highly recommended for family, ( mini playground for kids, mini zoo, swimming pool, company event etc ) Rajaklana offers everything you need if you don’t feel like venturing out. Just a charming place. The bed will make you melt even the bath tub extremely comfortable. Room was super spacious and clean. The vintage aesthetic wooden were awesome.

Rajaklana was a peaceful place after a stressful town ! The best stay ever and definitely will be back .
