Booked Natra for a weekend getaway for a total of 13 pax, ranging from a 3 year old toddler to 6 elderly pax and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay!

The resort is just a 5 min shuttle bus ride away from the ferry terminal which made it incredibly convenient. The rooms were clean and despite it being a “tent”, the air conditioning was powerful. Only gripe would be the soundproofing of the rooms.

Breakfast was decent with quite a variety of offerings, our favourite being the live indomee station. Another resort (Anmon) was just next door and easily accessible so that provided us with an alternative meal option (great variety and pretty good quality too). Our package came with a free dinner which I upgraded to a bbq outside our tent and the food portions were more than enough even for big eaters like us. Pretty yummy too and especially if you have a big party, I would recommend booking a bbq cook.

Above all, the service by all staff was impeccable! Buggy stuff were always happy to drive us around (wait times for the buggy were also close to 0), restaurant staff always ready to serve. Special shoutout to 2 groups of people: Reservation staff whom I was chatting with on WhatsApp who helped me arrange for 5 tents in a cluster so our family could be together. Also made very personalised and sound recommendations for a kelong dinner outside of the resort and arranged everything from reservation at the restaurant to transport. This really gave me a piece of mind pre-trip and reduced my anxiety leading up to the trip (had to make sure everything went smoothly for the entire family!) Mr Debi whom we first met at the ferry terminal. We met him again on a few other occasions and observing how my mother in law who has dementia, had trouble getting on and off the mini bus, took the initiative to arrange for a car on the day we were to return to the ferry terminal just for her and her helper, at no additional cost. He even personally saw to it that she was given priority boarding at the ferry terminal. These were not requests made by us but arrangements proactively made by Debi to which we were so grateful for. From our chats, we understand he has been with the property even before it was acquired by Marriott and his passion for the property and its guests really shine through. Congratulations on such a gem of a staff and I hope there’s some way his genuine care for his guests are appreciated.

The only gripe I have is regarding the scheduling of massages, which were part of the package that I bought. We tried to book massages for everyone immediately at check in but were told that slots were full the entire duration of our stay (3D2N). The staff then tried to squeeze us in 1 slot at a time but with 13 different slots with a group, you can imagine that was quite difficult for us to work around which also meant we had to sacrifice family time together (defeating the purpose of the trip entirely). There was some miscom along the way and while this could be handled better, I applaud Ms Lastri for trying her best to accommodate us as best as possible. She even went around the property in search of me to clear up some miscom regarding the slots. Eventually, we all managed to get our massages done albeit at less than ideal times (like in the middle of our bbq dinner and at 9am right before check out). If this is quite a popular service, may I urge the reservations team to reach out especially if it’s a big party like ours. Or in my case, since I was already in contact with someone pre-trip, perhaps we could have been offered an option to pre-book the service.

Overall, 10/10 recommend this property especially if you’re travelling in a big party and need to consider the needs of elderly folks and kids! Thanks Natra for the...

25/5 | |It was last minute plan to bintan island and we booked at bonvoy natra bintan. A few days before our trip i did text thru WhatsApp Natra customer service about our arrival it was fast response and yeah they do provide service pickup shuttle from the terminal bintan telani ferry to their hotel just provide them our ticket transaction and they do standby someone who gonna pickup during the day itself. Our ferry terminal to their hotel hotel it took about 5-10 mins ish journey once we reach the hotel our plan to just park our luggage while exploring other place. But surprisingly we are able to do a check in by 11.40 ish . The front desk really did her great( i couldn’t remember her name start from (Letter M i guess) she really passionate with her job after she explained to us about the facilities how and where once all done they send the bellboy to guide us to our room since it just so near the front desk so we just walk to the room. The room that we choose are Pool View King Tent With Sofa Bed And Whirlpool the room can fit up to 4 pax can req either king or twin bed along with pull out sofa bed. Oh btw this place has a big lagoon that under 3rd parties which is all the water sports activities are not inc in of our hotel facilities but they do have packages with or just 1 water sports itself and for hotel guess have 20% off which is for me affordable which is we do cable ski and lagoon kayak during sunset it was so nice and not so humid btw here the sunset is around 5-6pm ish . The hotel does provide shuttle to lagoon beach with the timing provide and need to register in advance at the front desk the shuttle is twice a day or you may book grab its available in bintan island. The resort itself got do package like common that we heard only non breakfast and breakfast. But here they do have breakfast + dinner (BBQ) or breakfast + lunch + dinner (BBQ) that could share up to 3pax for small eaters but we decided to just have our dinner at the patio restaurant & bar the food is on the standard. the portions and the food quality make the restaurant is worth to try with peaceful surroundings and amazing waiters are so polite and keep attending to anyone in the restaurant to make sure that we satisfy with the service.|so far the that made us so amazed here is a scattering of stars in the sky which is hard to get in my place and feel so appreciated to the universe and so calm sometimes after run from the city bustle. And while seeing the scattering of stars we able to do a breeze walk about 1.99km even the darkness of the moon illuminates the path and every 5-10 mins that a security keep rounding the place which is make us feel so safe to be surrounded. One the next day for breakfast we went out for breakfast that a few varieties from asian, western and got their local which is Indonesian and i would like to compliment one of your services staff at the restaurant if im not wrong his name is (YOGI) from the time we check in until every time when we pass by the restaurant he will keep greeting not only us but those who’s pass by at the restaurant either to the lagoon or back to the room. And during check out in the afternoon we decided to do extend our check out since our return ferry is around 5 ish ++ pm and front desk told us that we able to extend until our ferry depart with price discounted price (1 Million IDR) and for us is so affordable price and they arranged shuttle to the ferry terminal. So far natra has left me a great experience and i look forward in stay in natra again in other different room and lastly as i can say if looking to avoid from the city bustle you may choose bintan rather...

This was on the whole an enjoyable stay with the family, and the children loved the experience. Some of the positives: 1. The tent was comfortable enough for our family with 2 children (ages 8 and 5). They were able to fit in extra pull-out beds for both the children, which was a bonus we were not expecting prior to our arrival. 2. Cleanliness was good. Housekeeping kept the tent clean. There were a couple of occasions when we needed abit of extra help - one evening we asked for them to help sweep the tent when it got a little too sandy (we went to the lagoon with the artificial beach twice that day), and another when we found a rather large centipede near the children's beds - and they responded promptly and helpfully. In general, cleanliness was also good throughout the resort. We had no problems walking barefoot even outside the tent. 3. Service was great. Most of the service staff we encountered in the resort through our stay were friendly and helpful. There were a few who stood out, including Mila from the Front Desk, Sandi whom the kids enjoyed the buggy rides with, and who also helped us with both check-in and check-out, Tety from the spa, and Devi and Dimas from the restaurant. 4. There was enough to do around the resort to keep our family entertained for a couple of days. These included the lagoon and its activities, the spa, the jacuzzi in our tent, and also the BBQ that we had right in front of our tent on one of the evenings. 5. The complimentary transfers to and from the ferry terminal were also useful, and we definitely appreciated that these were both fuss-free. Surprisingly there was no need to pre-book ourselves on those trips - we just showed up and were ushered onboard after about 10 minutes. It was however not flawless, and there were some less pleasant aspects to the stay as well (to be fair, the last 2 are likely not within the resort's control): 1. At times, the resort felt under-resourced. For example, there were times when we had to wait more than 10 minutes for a buggy after calling for one. On a couple of occasions, we gave up waiting and decided to walk instead. 2. It was the same at the F&B outlet. At the breakfast buffet, the food often ran out, and we had to wait for quite awhile before the food was topped up. Plates, bowls, and cutlery also ran out on a few occasions. 3. Running out of food also applied to the ala carte menu. We had lunch and dinner in the resort several times through our 5-day stay, and at every single meal, there would be at least one of the items we wanted to order that was not available. Got rather frustrating after awhile. 4. Our tent was near the fence with the Anmon resort next door. They played loud music at the Anmon every night which disrupted our sleep. 5. While prices in the resort are high, they were generally tolerable. However that was not the case for almost everything else in the Treasure Bay area (which would include pretty much all the other activities except for swimming in the lagoon). Prices for most of those activities were ridiculous. By the end of the 5-day stay, we realised the total amount we spent could possibly have paid for a 5-day trip to Bali, including airfare!

We stayed at Natra Bintan over the long weekend. The resort was fully booked, so operations were clearly stretched. Overall, service stood out, but the tent experience had several shortcomings that need serious attention. From the ferry terminal to the resort, the process was smooth. The small lounge at the terminal was convenient for waiting, and the shuttle transfer was seamless. The welcome performance on arrival was a thoughtful touch. Staff were friendly and efficient. Buggy service was prompt and drivers were consistently courteous. Spa staff were accommodating and offered in-room treatments when the facility was full, which worked out even better for us. For food and dining, the first night’s BBQ dinner was well-organised and had a reasonable selection. In-room dining was quick and food quality was solid, aside from one mix-up where pisang goreng turned into a banana split with melted ice cream. Breakfast offered a good range of Indonesian and Western dishes, with passarounds adding variety. The lagoon and activity centre were excellent. Our child enjoyed the three-wheeled scooter ride and the pirate ship play area. The free flamingo float voucher for the pool was a nice bonus. Departure was quick and well-handled, rounding off the stay positively. However, there were some shortcomings. The check-in queue was long, and the welcome drink station stayed empty throughout despite repeated requests. Also the room was a mismatch. We booked a king room but received twin beds pushed together as a king, with a different layout from the photos. The bed lacked the expected bedposts, and the sofa bed was placed against the wall instead of against the bed. Also, the tent experienced multiple full power outages across both nights, leaving us in pitch darkness. Room phone was unusable since they relied on power, and there was no torchlight found in the room. This was a real safety concern. The issue repeated the next night and the duty manager responded promptly and apologised. Then the hot water stopped working and required another maintenance visit. Lastly regarding breakfast, inconsistency was observed. Fresh juices were available the first morning, but replaced with cordial syrup drinks the next day. A noticeable drop in quality. Overall, Natra Bintan has excellent staff, good food, and enjoyable facilities, but the tent accommodation needs improvement. Power reliability and basic in-room safety measures should not be an issue at a 5-star resort. Considering the rates are roughly double those at The Anmon next door, which shares the same leisure facilities, the experience didn’t meet expectations.

Had a 3D2N stay at Natra Bintan for our valentine day celebration with my hubby. Service was good from everyone in the resort to ensure our stay is well taken care of. Was picked up by the resort transport immediately after immigration clearance. About 5-10 mins drive from ferry terminal. We were greeted by Mr Eno with a big smile. Checked in was done in a couple of minutes and our rooms are ready so that we can check in immediately. After which we were given a welcome drink and Mr Eno explain the activities available for us to explore. Followed by Ms Meilin & Ms Titik who explain on the transport + massage/spa in the resort. Then we were ferry to the room by their buggy service. After that we had our lunch at Patio, and was served by Devi who tries her best to answer to all our questions on the menu. Though some of the food items were not available, they tried their best to recommend other options. Dinner at Patio were good as well, very well served by Mr Alwi and Ms Renita. Their smiles and good service made us feel at home and comfortable. They served the food according in sequence to our requests. Really appreciate it. Our spa treatment at the Natra spa was good as well and we feel relax after the massage. We had arranged a day tour out of the resort on the second day Thanks to our car rental driver Mr Yudi who makes a great effort to bring us to the Safari Lagoi (about 15 mins from resort) & 500 Lohan Temple (about 1.5 hr from resort) though weather was a bit hot but we did enjoy the tour. Total was a 6 hour car rental for the tour. Ending with a nice lunch at Decliff Cafe before heading back to the resort for our next spa treatment at D' Bintan Spa. Checked out on the 3rd day was smooth and fast as well. Had a nice drink recommended by Ms Yuliyanti (Patio in Love and Patio Season) new concoction by the bartenders. Both were nice and refreshing. And also we were so blessed to be offered a free bowl of crackers to go with the drinks by Mr Todo. Last but not least thanks to Mr Agus who collected our boarding pass so that we save the time queuing for it at the ferry terminal. We were happy with the overall experience. Thanks to Natra Bintan team! Thanks for the nice room decor + complimentary cake to make our stay a more memorable one! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
