We booked the cheapest room which was 300000, this exceeded our budget but the Internet wasn't very helpful with cheap accommodation so we went with it. And by the time we got there, a rainstorm was going on so we were happy to be inside. The room was worn down in a way that reminded me of the shabby, old motel rooms you see in TV series, the tap on the sink didn't work but the bed was great with fresh linen and hot water in the shower. There was a swimming pool but we didn't use it, not really the weather for swimming. A few of the staff members spoke quite good English and they had laundry service. |The first morning we were woken up at 7.30 by staff knocking on our door (and not giving up) with breakfast (rice), no warning the day before this was going to happen. That night a group of guests were really loud until 12. 30 am and the next morning we got yet another wake up call by a staff member shouting things in Indonesian at 7am. Great. Breakfast that day was better because there were now more guests, so there was a buffet. The spaghetti in the restaurant we wouldn't even fill the stomach of a 5 year old so I ordered, and paid of course, 3 portions. The noodles of the mie goreng seemed boiled the day before. |We went to the safaripark and the day after, while checking out, all of a sudden there was a note they offered a 10% discount on tickets, wasn't there the two days we were there and nobody cared to tell us apparently. |So to sum it up, the title says it all. Enough for a deep sleep after going to Safari Park from 9am till 5pm.
