The Lake House — Restaurant in Cisarua

Located 10 minutes away from Taman Safari (Not within it), I have to say, this resto is not only sell the place, but also sell good food. Many parking spot, but do be careful if you bring elderly cause the more crowded it is, the more downhill you have to park, which means you have to walk up hills to the resto. Places is wide, has many tables, and outdoor forest part, and the other is the pool outdoor the iconic picturesque one. Has second floor as well. We sat at the pool outdoor but at the table facing it. The table within the right and left side pool requires minimum IDR 500k spending, the middle does not require minimum spending. Came here around 3 PM weekdays, not crowded. Service are quick and knowledgeable about the menu. Menu has many variety, italian to asian.

We ordered the margherita reguler (IDR 70k), thin crusted pizza, no meat (if you want meat order the pepperoni) , generous amount of cheese, tomato based and fresh cherry tomatoes on top. Delicious, cheese although plenty, actually match up the tomato based sauce nicely, not to salty, savory enough. The pizza dough is also nice, thinly crisp on the edge. No complaint at all, even thinking about having second.

Had the matcha latte, taste sweet, nicely creamy but not too heavy.

The downside is the mango mousse (35k), they said it's their specialty, but it's not even a mousse, it's more like mango sorbet covered with plenty of whipped cream and mango syrup. This is definitely King Mango type dessert, remember the super hype expensive King Mango cup that needs to wait in line for hours, this is it, but in a smaller version. And king Mango is not a mousse, it is a mango smoothies. Please do change the name, do not fool the customer. Might as well name it small king mango!

Overall my experience here is nice, the air is breezy cool, seatings are comfortable, the pizza is great, not only sell place but sell good pizza. The only downside is the a.k.a self proclaimed mango 'MOUSSE' , which more like king mango or...

I visited The Lake House with my wife for dinner and we had a pleasant time. The place is cozy and relaxing, with a beautiful view of the pool and the forest. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the service was fast.

We ordered the Meat & Cheese Burger, Nachos, and Baked Potato for our main course. The burger was juicy and satisfying, with a generous amount of cheese and beef bacon. The nachos were crispy and cheesy, with a Bolognese sauce. The baked potato was soft and fluffy, with cheese and broccoli on top. The portions were just enough and filling, and the presentation was nice.

For our drinks, we tried the Lemongrass Ginger Tea and the Cinnamon Latte. The tea was refreshing and aromatic, with a hint of ginger. The latte was creamy and sweet, with a sprinkle of cinnamon. Both drinks were served hot and in stylish mugs.

The food was good but not great. It was tasty and satisfying, but nothing too special or memorable. However, the atmosphere was excellent. The place was quiet and peaceful, with a soothing night breeze in the forest. The decor was rustic and charming, with wooden furniture and stylish cushions. The lighting was warm and cozy, creating a romantic mood.
