News Hotel Surabaya — Hotel in Gedangan

Stayed here on july 2017,booked thru a third-party website.||Got a bit of mixed feelings on the judgement,but it's mostly positive,so i thought i'll just make a list||- Room itself was clean,the A/C is working fine||- Sheets were clean,but there are some black lines (presumably from ironing)||- Staff was friendly and responsive||- Bathroom was clean and dry, but there are some strands of hair in the shower drain. And one of the towels had a small hole in it||- They got slow music playing in the hallway,but not too loud that you cannot sleep from it. Just right||- The breakfast tasted nice,though the selection is not really the selling point.||||The hotel is located near the main road,and only around 30 minutes to the airport. The price range are also cheaper compared to similar hotels nearby.||||||Overall judgement is good. However, they might need some improvements on the small details. But i'd definitely...

I stayed here a few days ago with my husband for business matters, honestly the room is quite clean and spacious, they also provided us a television, closet, toiletries (2 pairs of towels, liquid bath soap, toothpaste & 1 pair of toothbrush).

But there are also things that need to be improved: No sandals are provided at all; Only 2 clothes hangers (could be more); AC is not cold enough; The ceiling of the room I was in apparently dirty (mold) due to the rain, and needed repair for guest's comfort; Receptionist guy should be more friendly and informative, At that time we only got 1 access card, so my husband had to always ask for help to get up and down the elevator (this was very troublesome) please fix it for the sake of the...

I mean with only 200k a night, guess this the maximum you can get. But it was still okay for me. The room soundprooof wasn't great tho so you can still hear sounds from outside but it was not bad at all. You can still sleep comfortably. The wifi was working well and the bed was okay. They don't provide you with amenities tho. No slipper. But I don't have any issues with that. Towel is there. The breakfast was okay too. Not too many options but it was still okay nevertheless. It's also convenient to go somewhere else with gojek. Mc Donald's is just around the corner. Like five minutes walking from the hotel. They also let you check in late at night.
