Read moreI recently booked two rooms at Miers Kuningan—one for myself and one for my sister. Unfortunately, my sister’s room had a severe air conditioning leak, which left her without air conditioning in the heat of Jakarta.
In my room, I discovered a dirty towel in the bathroom. I reported this to the front desk clerk (I believe her name is Livi), who responded with an impressive display of indifference, as she continued chatting with other staff members while I described the situation, showing a lack of empathy.
During check-in, I decided to pay the deposit in cash instead of leaving my ID card, thinking it would simplify things. However, the receptionist forgot to return my ID card until i checked out. I only realized it was missing after leaving the hotel. Luckily, I was still at a nearby mall, so I could arrange for a Gojek to retrieve it. It’s impressive how the hotel didn’t offer to send my ID card back—such a unique approach to customer service. I suppose I should be grateful for the chance to handle the situation all by myself.
Additionally, The bed sheets in my room were dirty, with noticeable stains. The phone in the room was old and unclean, to the point where I was reluctant to use it.
