RedDoorz Plus @ Guntur Raya Setiabudi — Hotel in Jakarta

ROOM: Building's old but they've got elevator. Room's spacious. There's a hole on bedsheet. Furniture's old. Room door still using a manual key so a bit worried about the security. Non-smoking room still has smoke smells. Toilet and sink is dirty. No bed lamp for you who can't sleep without lights.

SERVICE: The receptionist was okay. No water heater (kinda big minus but it wasn't listed on the app i using so my mistake), there's smart tv and air conditioning works well. Got 2 bottles of mineral water. Seems they'll gave it again when they clean up your room or ask the staff but i bought it myself. Neighbor room was really noisy at midnights but seems an usual occurrence since they've done it multiple nights (blasting music while opening their room's door). Wifi was not the best but okay.

LOCATION: Close to Central Jakarta with really affordable price which is a big plus for someone who looking for business trip. Next to the building there's a minimarket and a few cafe and restaurants which helps. Close to Setiabudi LRT Station.

Overall: it was okay for a short business trip. i can bear the dirt and stain for a few days but not with the noises since the only reason i came here is for have a rest. Seems there's no strict guide for this and hope...

I got cheated by Agoda and Reddoorz while booking this hotel. It state Reddoorz plus but then provide me Reddoorz budget which is not necessary for discount bcz what i paid might the full value for the hotel. #1 no discound and #2In agoda it showed up 1 double bed or 2 single bed. Where as this hotel doesn't have twin bed . When i asked for wifi they told me some password didnt work. And then they hv a whatsapp service. #3I contact them for 40mints they asked alot of question dnt give me password they just said they are contacting the person in charge. But no respond till morning. When i spoke to agoda regarding my issue they said they will talk to the mangement and come back to me...but they come back with email i need to pay for nexr day inorder to cancel it...i inform a day early and Agode delayed it. Thats wasnt my problem...i pay through Agoda and Agoda is responsible . I cant claim then hotel mangement... on this issue Agode...

The surrounding areas is actually nice and comfortable enough for us who were doing for business travel. It is near the minimarket, food stalls, bakery, and cafe. The room was big, but it wasnt the same with the picture. And when I asked about another facility which was put on the website, the keeper had no idea about that. I tried to confirm everything from the website, because the cs of reddoorz didnt know about that, and the phone number that gave by the cs not hung up. It was a little bit disappointed also by the keepers who werent friendly to us, such as inform facility we can use (smoking area, dining room, etc). Since we were new persons in the building (not like the tenants), and it wasnt hotel also, so every things must be cleared. But so far, everything is good.. the second day we were there, the place is homey, and we make connections...
