My cousin took this place for her wedding and asked me to help her.
The staff who was responsible for the hotel's wedding organizer (WO) are very unprofessional. When they ask us to do something, they didn't really care about what we do at the moment. I got a task to be the reception of the wedding. the WO staff makes me do my job when the make up wasnt even finished! She hurry me up when I havent get dressed properly. I even finished my make up in lift, and she still hurry me up when we havent even arrived at the destined floor. Even though the wedding starts only 1,5 hour after that!
Still the hotel's WO staff attitude, they literally laughing when the guests who came reached the maximum number at the point. They said these beside me! "Ah, they (my family) will need to order more food because there are already 900 guests in the ballroom. The food won't be enough. We are 'Royal Hotel', we should be Royal" and I heard from my mom that the hotel staff calls my aunt (who responsible for the food) several times to order more food.
When the bride, groom, and their family wants to come in the hall, they make the guests wait outside without further explanation [only said: "Mrs/Mr. do not come in right now"] or said "just come in to the hall right now" hurriedly. Even though there are senior guest.
They talk to us like a staff who work for them, without showing their politeness. And makes us do our job continously if we didnt explain further to them that we need to take a break/ want to pray.
Narrow parking space.
So far, I am really disappointed with this hotel and several of their staff attitude, especially the WO. They makes us feels uncomfortable and makes my day reallyyy bad yesterday cause my positive...
Read moreI'd heard about this hotel and even passed it by but last December was the first time I visited the property. One might think that this is an old property when merely looking at the façade (which I also did). However, as I stepped into the hotel, well I have to say that the interior design was pretty sumptuous, without looking gaudy. The lobby was one of the best spot in the hotel, with lots of photogenic spots for avid Instagram users (the grand staircase was wonderful).
We booked the Deluxe room for a night. The room was pretty spacious and had a nice view of Rasuna Said street. In general, the room was cozy and looked comfortable in warm tones. The furniture items were somewhat dated but it wasn't a big issue for us as we believe that properties like Royal Kuningan have their own "charm". The bathroom was also pretty spacious. Unfortunately, there wasn't a bathtub in the bathroom and when using the hand shower, the water coming out smelled weird so I had to wait until the water didn't smell foul. A twist for our stay was a "secret" door inside the closet connecting the room to the bathroom.
The brekkie was okay. We didn't find anything extraordinary but the menu was decent and varied. The swimming pool was the best part of our visit. The pool area had an amazing view of the city. Too bad it was raining hard during the first day so we were not able to swim for a long time. The changing room had lockers and a sauna to relax.
Location-wise, I would say that the property was both "yay" and "nay". "Yay" because it was in the downtown area. "Nay" because getting there was a bit complicated, especially with confusing roads around the hotel. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would love to...

The rooms are spacious, clean, and elegantly designed, providing a cozy environment to relax after a long day. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the room amenities, including fast Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and a well-stocked minibar, meet all expectations for a quality stay. I especially appreciated the large windows offering stunning city views
One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast buffet, which offered a wide range of local and international dishes. The food was fresh, delicious, and catered to various dietary preferences. The restaurant staff was attentive and ensured a pleasant dining experience
The hotel’s facilities, including a fitness center, outdoor swimming pool, and spa, are well-maintained and perfect for unwinding. Additionally, the meeting rooms and ballrooms are spacious and well-equipped, making the hotel suitable for events and conferences
