Kathy's Place Karimunjawa — Hotel in Jepara

We spent 3 nights here. Ali the manager picked us and dropped us to the ferry, which is only 1km away. He cooked our breakfasts and generally advised us, very friendly man. There is two rooms ensuite and two rooms shared bathroom they are all very nice, white walls white tiles. The shared areas are great, kitchen is well equipped and lounge has TV and fan, everything has been thought about. The nightly fish market (that should not be missed is down the road) and eating places are within minutes walking. Bring you ear plugs to Java there are many mosques everywhere. Ali can help you with renting bikes 50k for half day and 75k for full, you only ever need half day as there is no where that for to go. I was blown away with Kathy's Place. The place is newly and stylishly renovated with great touches and furniture. There is a beautiful large, reclaimed wood dinner table, comfortable couch area with large TV and movies, great outdoor seating and very nice rooms.||||Mine had a private bathroom and everything was incredible. All sorts of nice little touches throughout the room and bathroom. The breakfast was very tasty and filling. I stayed for 4 nights and missed it once I left, it really felt like home. ||||Kathy was an incredible help guiding me with activities and places to go. I went snorkeling and on a motorbike tour for the sunset around the island. Kathy’s place is located in the middle of central Karimunjawa and is the only 5 star accommodation there is on the main island. This is a central place to stay with easy access to nearby activities. The rooms are fresh and modern with Aircon, and the WIFI is at high speed. Showers have hot water and the Kitchen is fully equipped. Breakfast is also included and the place is of great value. Nice cozy outdoor area good for reading as well as cooking up a BBQ with fresh Seafood from the local night market that is 5 minute walk.
