We staid there in late January for one night in one of the three rooms available. Host Wayan showed us two studios located on the first floor, quite spacious with ensuite bathroom and small equiped kitchenette and a terrace with day beds that overlooks the bay. The third studio is brighter and on the second floor but it was occupied otherwise we would have taken it. But we were happy in the studio that was available. The village within walking distance is typical with its warung and corner shop, we talked with villagers and had a nice morning walk around, including on the black sand beach which is very close to the studios so access to the sea is easy. There are beatuful sceneries in the surroundings easily accessible by car or scooter. There are restaurants around within 5-10 minutes on foot and more on the way to Amed. We preferred to stay at Raweg which is in a quieter part of...

The property is at the Eastern extreme of Amed, with only a couple of restaurants in walking distance. We had a scooter, which worked well for the main tourist area (20 mins away). You can snorkel from the nearby ‘beach’, but it’s not private and consists of largish stones (not shingle and no sand) and is lined with traditional Balinese fishing boats, which looks great but may be difficult for some people to navigate around. There is a lot of building work going on around Raweg at the moment, which isn’t a problem if you are out all day. If you come back for a rest during the day, you will hear it. Finally, the owners were helpful, and will assist with any services you might want to access while...

My stay at Raweg Studio was perfect. The owner is extremely kind, patient, flexible and always available to help — really going above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly.
The room was very clean and comfortable, with everything you need. But what makes this place special is that they don’t just offer a room — they help you organize your whole stay, give the best local advice, and make you feel truly welcome.
Breakfast is available, and there are great local restaurants and a mini-market just 1 minute away. The owner can also help arrange transport and activities. I felt very supported and at home — highly recommended for a worry-free and heartwarming experience in Amed.
Thank you for...
