Warung Dewi Rahayu — Restaurant in Kecamatan Abang

What a hidden gem! We were looking for a place that had local cuisine and was open to eat after we went snorkeling at the Japanese Ship Wreck. We didn't want to pay the high prices like the restaurants we were seeing nearby.

The setting doesn't look like your typical restaurant, but it was very pleasant and just as enjoyable!

Food was so delicious and tasted super fresh! Made to order! I had the Pepes Ikan, which was a Mahi Mahi cooked/steamed in banana leaves. Came with a few sides which complimented each other very well.

After eating, we spoke with the owner/chef a bit. She is super kind! She even showed us the photo on her phone of the freshly caught mahi mahi she used to cook our food.

Price is exceptional, food is delicious, and portions of food are great!

We just came back from a wonderful dinner at this unassuming and delicious restaurant. The food was amazing and freshly cooked to order. We had nasi campur balinese, pepes ikan with mahi mahi, nasi goreng and some spectacular pineape juice. The owner and her family made us feel so welcome and were really hospitable and attentive. Modest warung with Real flavor

So glad finally found a place that suits my taste, and has real local flavor (it does not have to be spicy)

She cooks fresh and she uses homemade coconut oil ( can tell from the flavor and small)

I had grilled fish and vegetables, both are recommended The Urap can be a vegetarian dish
