Bukit Kirana was our home base in Uluwatu. Around Q4 of 2021 I sent them an email inquiring if they had any availability for long-term stays. By February of 2022, I received an email from Ibu Widia who advised us they had availability. We visited them right away, and we instantly loved their villas. It is a hotel, and like many accommodations, they were renting out their villas for long-term stays during the pandemic. They have about 15 or so 2- and 3-bedroom villas. We rented a 3-bedroom that has a balé (which is typical of all Balinese homes), its own pool, an open living room, and open kitchen. All rooms have their own bathrooms with bathtubs. Frangipani trees offer shade and fragrant flowers everyday.
Ibu Widia ensured that the villa we were moving into would be like new and well-maintained, as we saw that there were improvements, repainting, and works done prior to our stay. They have such friendly and very cheerful staff who are always ready to help. They are always smiling and have such positivity about them.
Location-wise, Bukit Kirana is close to everything we needed as a family to live: Dreamland Beach, Pepito, Ampara market, the gym, great cafes, spas and ATM, and just to the left of the main road is the fun ride to Labuansait where Padang-Padang, Nyang-Nyang, and many other great places to explore are. We originally had planned to stay only until July, but Eric, the owner, was so kind and allowed us to extend our stay until October.
Bukit Kirana remains to be our home as we always will remember it and would love to...

During our stay, we had problems with ants and insects, stray and neighbors’ cats roamed and visited at night messing up with bins and food, roof was leaking, water pressure was low, cooking utensils were disgustingly rusted, linen was stained and defo far away from hotel quality (you're charged for changing linen, which should not be standard thing when you stay in the villa, so expect paying lots money for that!, definitely was not informed about it during check in - let alone telling you how much it'd be, they expect you to sleep on the same linen for months!), and pile of trash welcoming you at the front of the complex.
Might be fine for a short stay, but if you plan to rent the place for long term, make sure you have a watertight and detailed contract - otherwise enjoy being yelled by the agent/ owner. Very far from being treated as tenant/ guests. There's nothing good to say about the owner/agent.
Positives: Friendly and helpful staff. Nice and clean...
