Felt like a scam destination. Our driver took us (a local Indonesian family) to visit this place by saying ‘my family has a small coffeeshop, If u would like to help the small business of ours’. As Indonesian sure we fall for that, out of pity ofc. Even my dad mentioned that he doesnt really like coffee, but the driver idk intentionally or not, choose a small restaurant where we can eat our lunch which very near from this location.

Talkin about this location, this basicly just small garden with some plants or tea tree whatsoever and a cage of mangoose. That’s all. On good side u can try the free sample drink for free, but If u want to try the Luwak coffee u need to pay. It’s ur choice.

Then they have small shop where u can buy the package of the tea or the coffee. I personally feel like its way too expensive with that kind of packaging. Nothing special. I can get the same quality of products in way more cheaper price.

Foreigners may enjoy this place as they learn something new. But for locals, I feel like it just a small garden with free sample drink.

I know the tour guide or drivers who take customers here will get some kind of commissions. I wouldnt mind that. But at least dont tell a lie story to bait people to visit this kind of place. Cause I’m pretty sure the driver that took us here is telling a lie, its not his ‘family...

This perhaps the place that every tourist should pay a visit when they are done watching the famous yet enchanting Kecak Dance at Pura Uluwatu. Being approximately 15 mins drive from the lovely Pura, everyone could notice this establishment at the street side, quite noticeable for its unique paving and fancy entrance gate.

I went there with a friend, having the luxury to meet the very nice and lovely owner, Mr. Wayan and his spouse who deliberately offered us a unique set of coffee samples, allowing us to choose the pot we liked the most. My vote went for the infamous red ginger coffee for its throat soothing taste. My friend however, opted the tasty Luwak Coffee and turned out to be one of my favorite, too.

On top of everything, we were also provided with a quick and memorable tour within the Cafe to get to know more about the agricultural side of coffee plantation and even better, had a chance to visit the secluded yet daunting Rumah Bali, a traditionally decorated home of Balinese design. In my opinion, this was almost the best experience I've had so far in Bali, especially at Jimbaran area, prompting another visit in a close...

A must try for coffee connoisseurs, at a pop of IDR50k (around zaR60) you get a luwak coffee, with a tasting sample of 15 drinks including herbal teas, coffees and cocao products and a cassava or jackfruit crisp snack. (Labels and descriptions at the end of the reel).

The adventure starts with a small tour of the plantation just to show you the types of trees used in the coffee/tea production. If you're lucky, you may spot a luwak or two (yes, they're caged). After viewing some of the dried raw ingredients, you would get a quick coffee processing demo leading up to the tasting.

The free tasting tray is one per group. I would suggest that you first get 1 cup of luwak coffee, then if it's your thing, order more as required. The #MangosteenTea, #AvocadoCoffee, and #CocoaSpices were the #TopThree for me.

After the tasting, you make your way to their shop where you can purchase anything that caught your attention. Unfortunately, they didn't have a prepackaged similar to the tasting sample to bring back home, but we did recommend this for future...

Probably one of the most unique coffee and tea establishments that I have ever visited! They specialize in Luwak coffee, that is “processed” initially by a species of mongoose called a Luwak. They eat the ripe coffee beans, because they like the red pulpy coating, then poop out the “processed” and intact coffee bean later on (usually within a day or so). The beans are then cleaned and roasted, and ground into a fine powder by hand that makes an excellent coffee with a strong and unique flavor profile. We had 15 samples of teas and coffees that they sell at no charge, but had to pay about $2 US for a cup of Luwak coffee to try. I ended up buying a small bag of Luwak coffee (100 grams) for about $14 US. Expensive, but it is so unique I had to buy some to take home! We also enjoyed many of their teas and their Bali cacao. Plan to stop in for some time to relax in their garden, do some tastings, and browse through their shop.
