RAHYA Villas Complex — Hotel in Kuta Selatan

We stayed at 2-bedroom villa from 3-5 April and had the worst experience in Bali: the villa is very stylish and new and the security at night were very friendly as far as the bali dogs there. the villa is under construction, 4 of 5 villas are not finished, the area is a construction itself and the nearby hotel in 10 meters is one big construction with the view, dust and the noise starting from 8 am the villa is dusty from construction, not comfortable for living, the sink was leaking, the shower is inconvinient and there are no any hooks at the bath, so the towels are placed at the bed, the remotes from fans are not working, the electricity finished in 30 minutes, the view from terrace is at the construction, at the bathroom you should close all curtains as workers are everywhere and right at the master bedroom window there is a manager's workplace, the flowers were withered when we came, the door at the toilet is not closing, fruits were not suitable to eat, the was water at the floor at the toilet, no tea bags or coffee the staff, service and the attitude is the worst in Bali: we came at 13.40 and saw the construction, asked to show us the villa first, but the manager quite rudely told that the check in time is 15 and that their construction is stopped and the neighbours are not doing loud works as they are at holidays. He advised us to go to their restaurant,which is 12 minutes drive btw and wait there. When we came back at 15.00 the villa was not ready, the girl at the reception didn't explain anything, just asked to wait. We asked to explain and call manager, and after 45 minutes we finally got into the villa, but the manager didn't explain or apologize. You should be aware that the complex doesn't have any infrastructure nearby, except the reception and 2 chairs. Next day we left villa early in the morning and came at 14.30 to sleep. At 15.40 the staff rang the doorbell for 5 minutes untill finally woke us up. They asked about cleaning although they have out whatsapp. 15.40?! Wow! Where to begin. We have travelled nearly every holiday through Asia and, still, this is our favorite spot.

The villa is extremely well put together and thought through. It’s fully equipped with everything you could need and everything down to the perfect lighting and fluffy towels are just superb. The staff are just absolutely brilliant - really at your service and go above and beyond in the most helpful / intelligent ways possible. We had a few issues in our unit and within seconds they had someone out to repair. Incredible!!

We loved this place so much that, as soon as we left for Canggu, we decided half way to rebook RAYYA on the way and came back !

There’s not much within walking distance - except a beautiful collection of beaches. But downtown Uluwatu is super easy to get to with Grab or Gojeck.

They also greeted us on NYE with a beautiful gift basket! I’m telling you, this place goes above and beyond!!! Can’t wait...

Amazing experience, we felt really welcome.

We really enjoyed our time here. From the beginning, the staff was very friendly and ready to help. They made us feel very welcome. The territory isn't too big, yet you have everything you need and it feels safe and cozy.

The villa we stayed in was beautiful and had everything. It was clean and perfect for our holiday and later workation (great internet, AC etc.). We also had access to the hotel pool, which was great, our daughter especially loved it and spent a lot of time there!

The location is also good. It’s close to the beach (not really walking distance, though), and it was easy to explore other places in Bali when the weather wasn’t sunny enough (thanks to easy access to a Grab taxi from the location).
