cintalam cafe, curry, burger, protein menu — Restaurant in Kuta Selatan

This might be the most strange experience I had of entering a “restaurant”. First, we wait for 10 minutes to allowed to get in, as we warned that we have to wait another 10 minutes to order the food (like why?) but anyway we enter the place, it’s just so weird.. the ambience feels like entering a sect. The waiters were so strange the way they communicated. We saw the menu and decided to order, even though we saw that all food and drinks are not included the 21% tax. 21???? yes!! 21. Even resort or some fancy restaurants charge 18%. Whatever, bcs we hungry. One funny thing, we ordered the burger, we also have to order the fries separately. When we asked for ketchup, they won’t give it for free we have to pay additional 10k for that. Hahahah.. we ordered katsu burger without the katsu sauce but it came with the sauce, and we have to wait for another 15mins for them to bring the right burger. Total waiting like almost 1 hour for the food.. so slow, place feels like a sect, super undercover. Will we come back? Hell tf no. The reviews here might be all fake so...

I had an amazing experience at this lovely restaurant. From the moment I stepped inside, I felt welcomed by the beautiful, natural decor—it’s clear that a lot of thought went into creating a warm, earthy atmosphere that feels both cozy and refreshing.

The food was absolutely delicious! Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can tell the ingredients are high quality, and the chef has a real passion for creating memorable flavors.

The service was also top-notch—friendly and attentive without being intrusive. This place is a true hidden gem, and I can’t recommend it enough to anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience. Will definitely...

I have just left the restaurant. It’s a beautiful hidden gem with a cool skate place but we found the service (11%) + tax (10%) = 21% outrageous. Beach clubs and super luxury restaurants have a 16-18% service tax. And then we waited 1 hour for our food. They said it would take 20min when they gave us our drinks- 10 min after we have ordered. It turned out it took 1 hour.. The staff should mention this when they take an order. And when this happens when guests are waiting for an hour, at least take it off from the service tax or give a discount.

For this reason we will NEVER come back to this place and that while we live 5min away and could have become regular customers. Because it’s not worth the 11%...
