Rinjani Vista — Hotel in Lombok

Out of my 1 month trip in indonesia I stayed in a fair few places, and without doubt the one that sticks in my memory as being the most pleasant was in Yatrien’s lovely home.||||She takes very good care of you and is very welcoming and hospitable.||||A good, honest person with a big heart.||||And the breakfasts, the breakfasts, THE BREAKFASTS!||||You could probably get away with eating for the full day after one of Yatrien’s breakfasts, seriously nice homecooked food, different everyday, and a big serving of fresh fruit to go along with it.||||The rooms and general standard of the whole house is spotless, very well kept.||||The beautiful garden, the rooftop view of the rice fields and the volacano.||||I dont normally write reviews but this place really deserves it.||||Definitely will be back on my next...

Our family has been travelling for 5 months, and staying with Yatrien was a highlight of our trip. ||The rooms are spotless, the views of rice fields and Rinjani are beautiful and the attention to detail fabulous. But the real reason to stay is Yatrien, because she made us feel so welcome. ||Yatrien made our vegetarian family the best breakfasts of our trip by a mile, with delicious traditional Indonesian foods. She explained what everything was, and so our children tried(and loved!) new things. Yatrien even packed us up left overs from our (huge!) breakfast so we had plenty for lunch. ||I highly recommend having a massage with Yatrien. All the staff were super friendly. What a lovely place to settle in and rest up for a few days. The host is absolutely unbelievably friendly and welcoming. I could have spent a few more days chatting to her and enjoying a few more fine breakfasts. It is in the midst of lovely rice fields and not too far from the beach. If you are an early riser then you will appreciate the distant prayers coming from the mosque across the fields. There is also a lovely patio on top of the house which one can relax upon and watch the sun rise and enjoy some tea or coffee. The breakfast is absolutely 5 star...and if you love cats then the 3 or 4 adopted cats make excellent company. I really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend to stay here...
