In defense of the good ratings this hotel has, I have got to admit, it looks nice, the rooms are decorated very well,But that's about it. |If you look underneath the surface of this place it's terrible. First thing I didn't like was the fountain right in front of our door which is in a malaria country like Indonesia maybe not so smart... I looked around the room and in the corners there were dead Moskitos and dead little bugs. So I'm assuming this room was empty for a while. So far so good, but then I had a closer look at the bedsheets and there were bedbug poop stains ALL OVER. As an experienced backpacker I KNOW how that looks like, I've had them before. The nice appearance of the hotel couldn't outweigh this one, which is the worst of all things a hotel can have cause you take a rash and eggs on your clothes with you when you leave. Read moreThis lovely hotel is a great bang for your buck. Super clean and spacious rooms with all the perks you would hope for. Staff are at your beck and call and always happy to help out. Especially that I am a solo traveller. They made me feel at home.||Located in central Mataram but on a quiet street. Only a 5 minute walk to Mataram Mall and the night markets where I found fresh local food at rediculously low prices. Alot of atmosphere and life. ||I slept in the first comfy bed in weeks here. When I awoke, my neck and back pain had disappeared. ||The traditional Nasi breakfast was just what I needed and the coffee was just perfect.||Finally, the owner, Gede, is always around and speaks impeccable English which is also a great bonus. ||I wish I could stay longer but I'm happy I found this place.
