THIS PLACE IS A MUST VISIT!!
From the outside it might be a little difficult to spot since there are many trees and other building. But after a while you'll notice the sign "QUBIKA" on the wall. Parking space is generous and currently free of charge.
The building it self has a very interesting concept. On the outside it's a stack of containers and all industrial theme, but in the inside they have this colorful and cheerful tone.
Upon entering the building my eyes quickly fell in love with the amount of empty space in the main hall. You can appreciate the high ceilling and colorful containers stacking up high. There are like... 6 or 7 floor? I can't stop saying how I love the atmosphere just by standing in the main hall. No wonder people really love to take pictures and selfies here.
They have this tables and benches just for people to dine in. Qubika is collaborating with Portable which is located at the lower ground. There are also other working spaces and meeting room you can rent. They have this kids playground as well at the corner and two billiard table right next to it. Guests are free to play billiards but visitors will be charged for quite a nice price though.
Most of the visitors here are here for dine in or selfies. But no profesional camera is allowed here.
Now let's talk about the room. The best room that Qubika provide here (so far) is on the first floor. It's pretty spacey and comfy. A clean look, kingsize bed, sofa, and wide screen television. You also get glass bathroom and sink right next to the room door. Speaking of new habbit.
From the outside it looks like 3 containers size with total of 6 windows. But don't worry, you can always shut the curtain to mantain privacy. The hotel is already open for guests. They in fact have all room occupied right now. Currently Qubika is still working in the other upperfloor and expected to be fully finished by the...
Read moreI’m gonna share my first (and probably last) experience of staying here.
the hotel’s architecture was very unique quite a good price for the size of the room parking was adequate and easy to find free flow of water during our stay the tv provide good channel
As for the negative, where do I start… This hotel has TOO MANY conference room for the size and level of the hotel. When we arrived, there was a big event (Tangerang Fashion Week or some sort) that was held in the main floor. It was noisy and crowded, and since the room was not sound proof (another minus!) it was annoying as hell. The crowd from the fashion event was mixed with some other birthday parties and when we wanted to leave the hotel for dinner, we were so overwhelmed and confused. MANAGEMENT PLEASE, if you can’t manage your noise, don’t have events! That’s disrespectful for the paying guests. The water took FOREVER to get heated up. As I brought my child with me, she had to take a shower with cold water. After she was done with shower, THEN the water got warmer. The management must be kidding when they provide a king-sized bed with a twin-sized duvet… I refused to believe that people can be THAT daft. The breakfast… so when we arrived, the receptionist advised us to be earlier for breakfast tomorrow. It was a red flag on its own, but in the morning I realized what it meant. The kitchen was not properly equipped/staffed for a full-house breakfast. We couldn’t get any seat because the tables were set up for 6 people but in fact, only 2 people sat on each table. Then, they run out of every meal and it took FOREVER to get refilled. Then, when we ate something that was ready, it was hard to chew and probably undercooked. If you wanna stay here, probably the breakfast is not worth it.
That’s it, not coming...
Read moreLet's start with the good ones Strategic location, it's close to some education and entertainment places like Scientia Square, Branchsto, and several mall. Comfortable rooms, its not spacious, but enough. The Staff. They are amazing, cheers Affordable price
And the things I wish they'd improve. The food. Breakfast was mediocre, the drink are just plain water, juice, and tea, but they're all taste the same, yep, barely any sweetness or sugar at all, I don't know if this was intentional or not. Water heater. Took a really long time to heat up, like it took more than 15 minutes with the water running to get it hot. Too dark. I know this is probably to set up the mood, but I got here in the afternoon and the G floor is just way too dark for me, I don't mind a dim warm light, but this one is more on the dark side. I don't expect a soundproof room, but if you stay in a high traffic corridor, the sound of people walking and talking can get a bit loud. If you got kids with you, pick a room at the end of the corridor.
Overall a unique hotel with unique experience, I'd recommend to give it a try, a...
