Bromo Park Hotel — Hotel in Probolinggo

Nice hotel located in the center of probolinggo. You can see probolinggo from the balcony of your room. Since probolinggo is a crowded city, sometimes you can hear noises, so this hotel iw not for you who want to relax and have calm atmosphere. When you check in, the receptionist will give you welcome drink coupons that you can use for that day till 10 pm, but we didn't use our coupons because we were too lazy to go to the restaurant 😄. The room was nice and clean. They design the wall like bromo mountain in silhuet. The shower was also very good, strong water and refreshing. Although the name of the hotel is bromo park hotel, but it is far from bromo mountain 😄, so we decided to move to a homestay that was closer to bromo. It was so hot in probolinggo and the hotel doesnt have any pool. It will be better if they have 😁. The hotel offers room dining with various menu. They also can arrange a tour to bromo if you want it, but of course with bit expensive price 😁. We decided to arrange our own bromo tour to be more adventurous 😂😅. The hotel is so close to many shopping centers. You just need to walk a bit and you can find everything 😀 cause it is in the middle of the city. The parking lot is so wide. The breakfast was great. Ordered 2 rooms: deluxe and superior because on the phone they said no two deluxe rooms available on the same floor. We checked in at 7pm, but we still didnt get the rooms on the same floor because they said it is based on arrival. But thats okay

Our deluxe room was spacious, bathroom was spacious. Cleanliness needs to be improved a little bit. The only drawback in this room was: the window! In the morning we opened the curtain and shocked to see that the window leads straight to the outside (free jump 😱) and no safety net or railing whatsoever. Considering our kids played near the curtain the night before, we were a bit shocked to see that in the morning. Thank God it was locked.

The superior room was pretty spacious (not as big as the deluxe though) but the bedcover, bed sheet and towels were all dirty. Asked for a change but still dirty (the color was grey not white).

But the location is perfect for those who are travelling to Bali and wanting to stop here in Probolinggo

The service was satisfactory because the housekeeping was responsive when we asked for a bedcover change, and we were allowed to order outside food from Grab and they delivered it into our room.

Breakfast menu was limited. But their fried fish was yummy 😋 others were so so. BF Opens at 6am

We stayed in the hotel for two nights to visit the Bromo. The tour itself was worth it, but we should have left after the first night. The hotel is extremely noisy. Not only because you can hear the rooms next to you and the people waking up at different times to go to the Bromo making noise in the hallway, but also because of the mosque and the AC sounded like a WW II airplane outside of our balcony. ||||Also, there is literally nothing to do for tourists in Probolinggo. We did not feel comfortable walking around in the streets. We asked the hotel for recommendations but did not get any useful answer. ||||The staff does barely speak any English, on simple questions like what there is to do in the neighbourhood or how long the drive is to the airport they don't have a clear answer. The reception seemed a bit of a mess. ||||Good thing was that because of the bromo tour and our early flight the next day we did not have time for breakfast and they made a breakfast package for us to bring.
