Batur Volcano Guesthouse — Hotel in Pulau Bali

Batur Volcano Guest House In my opinion, is the best choice if you are going for the Batur Summit attack to catch the preview of Sunrise from Mount Batur. It is clean, quiet and is managed well.

The Location

The Guest House is one of the places nearby the foot of the Batur Mountain. It is 5-10,minutes walk to the main road where they has groceries and stores (i may walk a bit faster thank others so pardon ne if this is not accurate). From the main road, you can walk 500 meters to nearby lake bar. And a few KM more to other places of interest beside the lake which includes spa, resto, etc. The place is accessible by car or motorbike.

The View

It has the spectacular view of Mount Batur at the South West side and Gunung Abang at the North. Lake Batur is overlooking from an small but exclusive spa hot spring pool in the Guest house. The garden is amazing and it is quite an eye candy.

The Rooms

They have 2 small villa and a shared room. We stayed in the villa which has a toilet & bath and Queen bed. There is also a room which can be shared by up to 4 persons. Please contact the hotel directly for rates. The rooms has no airconditioning which is not a problem because of the cool breeze and fine temperature throughout the season.

The place itself doesnt have any mosquitoes, but if you are intending to stroll to the main road or nearby lakes around 5PM onwards, it's better if you sprayed...

If you’re deciding whether to book this place or not, I’m telling you: you will regret it if you don’t! I arrived on my scooter, injured after taking a fall on my way from Amed. As soon as I arrived, Made took care of me until the moment I left. I honestly couldn’t ask for a better host, or even a better human! I was bleeding, cut up and struggling to move. Made cleaned my wounds, dressed them, got me water, offered to take me to the clinic... and then didn’t leave my side the whole day!! He waited on me hand and foot and his staff were always happy to help me. Honestly, I cannot thank him enough for how he treated me!! When I needed something, he sent a staff member to go to a shop and get this for me. He then arranged a car to take me and my bike to Ubud the next day. His staff are all so happy and joyful. This is a sign that they have a great boss and leader. And this is true. And just when you think that isn’t enough.. the beauty of this homestay is breathtaking! A beautiful natural hot pool which is cleaned and refilled every day and land which has been taken care of with so much love. There’s also a SUPER cute puppy! The rooms and bathrooms are so clean. Stayed here for two nights in June last year,vivid memories even till now.the guesthouse location is great,it face the mount Batur and also the lake Batur.so everyday you can view the both Batur.the owner is friendly,you can ask him to arrange hiking,tour,tickets etc.breakfast included,and delicious made by young boys,the room is basic,but okay,bathroom simple,water sometimes smell like Sulphur,but it is normal here.there is a hot spring pool,though not big,but quite enjoy.i prefer breakfast time,you can have your meal and watching the mountain and the lake.i had Batur hiking tour in the early morning, amazing and memorable experience,cuz i am not young but still can make it,that time i cant see the sunrise,cuz not the right day.the guide is patience,will asked if i am ok,and always wait for me,the price is reasonable(one on one).i did join another tour to truyan,cost a lot,but worth a visit.after check out,i had an half day tour in kintamani area and tegallalang. anyway,a nice stay at Batur Volcano guesthouse,want to come again if...
