We started walking up at 430 so we could see the sunrise. The air was cold so lightweight jacket was quite useful. From the jeep parking it was immediate ascent, with the soil slippery so it was a bit of a challenge for non-climbers like me. The hike up though was well worth it. We had light breakfast while admiring the view of the sunrise and the mountains at a distance. Later on monkeys were about to scavenge for food. The steam from the top was quite fascinating.

We came here on the third day of our Bali trip. This place was quite far from our hotel; we had to wake up at 2 a.m. However, we still had a great time here, took some nice photos, and left with a very memorable experience from our Bali trip. I recommend this place to tourists who love natural beauty.
