KARDI RESIDENCE — Hotel in Pulau Bali

i stayed here for one week under the pretense that there was no construction, as i asked directly before booking and they said there wasn’t…there very much was. not only was there construction, workers were hammering directly above my roof while i was sick in bed trying to rest at one point.

With that being said, I understand the place is new and the owners are just trying to make it the best it can be with improvements - but probably best to coordinate work when the rooms are not occupied. At the times where construction was not being done on my roof, it wasn’t that loud - you could usually hear street traffic more than the construction on other sites.

Beyond that, the hospitality is 5 stars. Excellent service from cleaning staff, and the owners were very proactive about accommodating my requests - namely for a smaller pillow, clean towels when the staff forgot to replace the wet ones one time, and a pot to cook in - this made my experience exponentially better.

As i mentioned, i got sick during my stay, and thanks to the pot, i was able to make soup the whole week, and the smaller pillow was an absolute necessity to keep my neck and spine comfortable while i was laid up in bed.

The place is completely new, which obviously makes it much easier to get comfortable, hot water, strong water pressure, great fully equipped kitchen, great quality towels, linens (and towels) always smelled fresh - this is very important to me.

Kardi Residence is absolutely wonderful if you’re looking for peace and quiet.

Located in Cemagi, away from the noise and crowds, it offers a serene escape. The staff are very friendly, and the villas/rooms are spacious, spotless, and well-maintained.

There’s also a lovely pool perfect for relaxing and unwinding.

One thing to keep in mind: it’s quite far from convenience stores or groceries, so it’s best to bring everything you’ll need. Luckily, just across the street, you’ll find Bambou Café, which serves delicious healthy meals and drinks.

I spent one night in this guesthouse and I enjoyed it. It is a brand new one, very clean and well-furnitured. There is a smart kitchen in the room. The bathroom includes all that you can need - towels, soap, body wash, shampoo and even disposable personal hygiene products. The bed was so soft snd nice, although the pillows seemed too big and high to me, it was not very comfortable to lie on them.

There is also a pool where you can swim and sunbathe on a sun lounger.
