Reading multiple reviews here of people saying this is one of their favorites makes me doubt my sanity, maybe I caught them on a bad night.
Service was not good. 1 of 2 tables and it took us about 5 minutes to be greeted and given water, also long wait to put in our order. Then took about 30 minutes to get our food. Ceviche came out literally one minute before main course even though server specifically asked if we wanted it early as started.
Ceviche was honestly bad. Bland taste and portion was tiny, this was disappointing, especially considering how long it took to get.
Rack of lamb overall was very good, except one piece was literally raw in the center. I like rare/medium rare lamb but this was simply not cooked.
The beef rendang was excellent, one of the best I have had.
Tl;dr some things really good, but very inconsistent and poor value imo. If a meal is 400k for 2 people everything...

The tuna tataki is fantastic with the yuzu sauce. The first time I went there I took the gnocchi, they were DELICIOUS but only 10 of them. Small ones. I was so sad. But the fried Aubergine was great. Although last time i thought they were too wet. Hard to explain. But I will give them another change. The fried aubergine plate is HUGE.
I really enjoy the shrimps pasta with dry tomatoes. The burger is always a good choice.
The ambiance is alway nice, the place is well decorated. Like i said i really like the place.

The food itself has a great quality and reasonably priced. Can’t recommend the tomahawk because its a little tough even with a medium rare. But on the other hand the prawn linguini is very tasty, good flavour balance, and unquestionably shown their potential. I honestly can’t wait to be back and try their grilled barramundi as I was told it wouldn’t disappoint.
I honestly just love to see locals to open a business that is very well set up and managed. The kind ‘ibu owner’ is busy in the kitchen preparing the best thing to be put right before your eyes without overcharging! And for that, this place...
