Horrible stay at Dayuma's house. All is LIE. I don't even know where to start... Dayumas promises me, as she doesn't put any air con on the house, that the house would be fresh especially at night. The 2 Nights were nightmares! Speaking about the 2nd room it's not even one! Dayumas confesses it was initially a meditation room changed into a bedroom. That's explain why it is a very very small piece of the villa with no door and one window you can't even open to refresh the air or you will literally sleep in the terrace. I won't even talk about the promiscuity between the 2 rooms (literally 3 steps to get from the master to the tiny room. This is how close they are one to another). The master bedroom (big and beautiful wood bed though) had the same problem. We decided to open the windows anyway hoping to get some fresh air but what a mistake we did! So much noise! The neighbors are noisy as hell. Besides the house is situated near to the road so you can't imagine all the noise we heard whereas we were trying our best to sleep. About the bathroom I hope you are not allergic or afraid by bees. There are ALL OVER in the shower's pipe and came out on the middle of your shower! Of course...not mentioned in Dayuma's resume. The morning we were awaken among other things by her very close neighbors waking up at 5.30 am, by Dayumas leaving her house around 6 am in her old SUV which makes a horrible sound when she starts it up and by her employees working on her house at 6.30 am (!) (not mentioned in her resume as well) {not even talking about the noise of the scooters coming and going on the road just behind the villa and dogs barking non-stop}.
Dayumas pictures reflected quite the reality concerning furnitures but she forgot on purpose to specify that the garden has nothing secret. You are surrounded by houses. Her and her family's house (living 50m nearby), her noisy neighbors' and all these people can watch your every moves in the villa you have to let open because of the constant hotness. What a privacy! She also said it will have some wifi this was a such a lie. There is no wifi in the villa. You have to connect to the wifi of HER house and stay under the mango tree of HER garden wishing to get a (very low) signal. We didn't succeed to connect.
After the first night we couldn't bear staying any longer in the house and asked her to refund us as she lied about almost everything in her description in Airbnb. Instead she propose to pay our driver from her house to our next stop Amed. But what a surprise when the day we left we realize that she tried to fool us not by not paying the driver!
I would say that the house would and could be perfect for a couple looking for some meditation and trying to disconnect and relax (no wifi no tv no nothing) but the surrounding noises brings you quickly to the awful reality of this house only looking good on pictures.
I won't advice anyone to rent this house. I wish I could post some pictures and videos we recorded showing the true reality of this house. We plan to contact Airbnb because we can't let the owner rent at this price and these conditions her villa. What a scammer she is....
Read moreThe room is done with bamboo so there are lot of wholes where animals can fit into the room. Of course lot of moskitos were inside the room. They dont have rooms with two beds, so only queen bed available. The room has no window.... The breakfast it is not plenty and it is completly vegetarian. It is far from the city so you need a motorbike for everything. In addition to all of that, the owner knew we wanted to do the volcan ijen tour and she did not advise us that the second night we will be already on the tour and that we won't need the room for two nights, so we paid two nights when we only slept one. The good thing is that the girl that it is working there is very nice and helpful. But for a bit of money more I would prefer to go to Shanti Panorama, it is in the same street but it is not comparable...
Read moreThis was probably our best accommodation in Indonesia and I can't recommend it enough. You stay in a beautiful, spotless bungalow situated in a georgeous garden with great views of the surrounding countryside. There is a lap pool and plenty of space to relax in the garden plus your bungalow comes with a private terrace which is a great space to hang out. You are a walking distance from the Aling Aling waterfall and close to Lovina and other North Bali attractions, but make sure you arrange your transport. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and both the food and massage were great. I normally see accommodation as just a place to sleep but leaving our main regret was that we couldn't stay longer and just hang out...
