We stayed here for 3 nights and were impressed with the friendly service and low rates. We really loved the pool and the breakfast was light and fresh. The location was walking distance to anything you might want to do, meals, beach bio rocks etc. The room was very clean better than some hotels I'd stayed in in Bali.||||Things I would improve would be the internet there was just one router for the resort and even though we were the only guests it was not possilble to watch streaming video, and only worked in certain parts of the room. Since we had no TV it was early nights all round. A booster would be an cheap way to provide a better experience.||||My main gripe would be the gaps in the doors. The doors were not fitted well so mosquitoes were coming in all night and we did everything the sprays etc but that part was too rusitc for me. This would be a cheap fix to just fit them properly or a few strips of wood well placed. There was also someone burning rubbish or something behind the room for most of the stay which wafted in a times. A good seal on the rooms would have many benefits.||||The mattress was a too old the springs on my ribs are never fun. The foam mattress on my sons bed was fine. ||||I liked the water refills and the solar hot water systems, very thoughful. We went to the island and the snorkeling which was a great day. The truck had no seatbelts and the boat did not have enough life jackets, I realise its Bali and all but the owner was from Belguim so should have known better, and it wasn't that cheap. Our guide was friendly and showed us a few thing we may have missed.||||So all in it was good but could have been fanastic value with just a few tweeks. Still like this I...
Read moreVery disappointed with Mimpi I ended up leaving after 3 days and even changed to a different dive centre.
Staff weren't welcoming and didn't seem to care about anything really. Maybe it's a big difference between Balinese hospitality and French hospitality but I felt unwelcome right from the start. I was one of only three guests too so it couldn't have been difficult.
The Divemaster was brand new and didn't really know anything, he literally finished his certification in the last month or so and had no idea what to do really. Good thing I'm a dive pro. The instructor Nick who took me on the night dive didn't really seem any better. He didn't seem to know the site or the aquatic life or where to find anything and he didn't care. He was not at all welcoming or friendly either. I might also add I was the only paying customer on the dive.
Bed was terrible and hard, I was waking up throughout the night feeling sore. The linen was not any good either, and I doubt they are cleaned often. It was a quilt stitched together with the cover which is not removable.
Room was spacious and clean, decent shower, and pool was nice temperature,...
Read moreI stayed in Pemuteran for 2 days at the end of my holidays (waaaay to short!!!) and the team of Mimpi Nyata and Rhipidura Bungalows (the second hotel of the french owners) made the most of this short time!! Absolutely welcoming, helpful, flexible and simply amazing! I booked a diving trip to Menjangan Island and everything was just perfect. They organized everything from equipment, tanks, transfer, boat, diving groups, lunch, drinks and even took care of my non-diving friend and went snorkeling with her. Briefing on dive site was well explained and on spot. They are passionate and we had a lot of fun during the trip. What stood out the most was that they were honest: Instead of taking my money for a night dive I asked for, they told me honestly that due to stormy sea the sight underwater will be very limited and that I should reflect if I really want to go... Most dive centers would have gone with me and would have taken my money - At Mimpi Nyata the customer and his satisfaction comes first!||Team speaks french, english, balinese and indonesian.||5 stars and I will come...
