Umah Bali Villa — Hotel in Pulau Bali

My family of four stayed 3 nights in the villa. We absolutely loved our stay and did not want to leave! The villa has three very large bedrooms each with their own huge full bathrooms. The bedrooms are in separate areas of the house giving each family member privacy and a special place of their own. The house has a beautiful large balcony off of the master bedroom located on the second floor. The swimming pool area with chaise lounge chairs is so pretty surrounded by gorgeous gardens including a coy fish pond. Above the bedroom that is it’s own separate building across from the pool has a lookout area with a brilliant covered lounge bed overlooking the rice fields. Sunrises are breathtaking at the villa accompanied by the sounds of nature. We loved watching tons of adorable ducks frolicking in the water of the rice fields. The setting of this villa is truly magical, surrounded by rice fields and nature. The villa is a close drive to Ubud but away from the hustle, bustle and noise of the town. I highly recommend staying in the villa. I would not have enjoyed staying in the center of Ubud, it’s just too busy! In addition to this fabulous villa, you get to meet a few of the nicest, most knowledgeable, patient, helpful people who make you feel like instant family! The villa owner Ngakan and his cousin Agung are two of the nicest men we’ve ever met! They both drove us all over Ubud, showing us the sights. They showed up a few minutes early every time. Their patience was beyond expectation. We ran into difficulty finding ATMs that would work with our cards. Agung drove us to at least 20 over the few days we stayed, even missed dinner with his family to try to help us. He never complained and was so kind to us. My 12 yr old daughter became very sick on a Sunday while there. Ngakan came right away and drove us to a beautiful, clean and amazing clinic where she received the best care. Ngakan not only brought us there but went in with us and stayed the entire time by our sides making sure everything was ok. He then drove us to the grocery store so we could get a few things to make her more comfortable. He refused to take any payment for all of his time. As a mother I nearly wept as I was so touched by his compassion. The two young men who take care of the villa, clean and cook,Juli and Kadeck, were amazing. They are so friendly and just a pleasure to be around. They cooked up delicious breakfasts for us each day and kept the villa sparkling clean. This villa is truly a special place. This beautiful villa can be found on Airbnb “Contemporary Villa in rice fields with sunset views” and the owner is a super-host. Our family just returned from a 6 day stay at this villa and could not have been more happier with our decision. ||||Included with the rental of the home is homemade breakfast and fruit prepared by the owners family and staff. Upon request they will also prepare a full course dinner at a very reasonable cost. We enjoyed three nights of home cooked meals and ended the evening lounging by the pool watching the sunset. Additionally, the owner, Ngakan, is a tour guide and knows all the right places to go. We were extremely happy with all of his suggestions, and enjoyed a spa day, white water rafting, Aloha swings, Batik class, waterfall and temple tours with him.||||The culture of Bali is beautiful and the people are some||of the most welcoming you will find. Me and my sister spent 5 relaxing nights at this HUGE villa, not far out of Ubud. The daily breakfast was devine, with various fruit on top of some amazing breakfasts (my favourite was the banana and coconut pancakes).||||The owner offered to drive us each night to restaurants in Ubud which we used often.||||Additionally we chose to one night have a home cooked meal for only 100k rupiah each, and when all the food came out it was well worth it and tasted fresh and amazing.||||The owner showed us some of his other properties as well while we were there, which I look forward to also staying at next time I head to Bali.||||Villa is cleaned every day, staff are polite, view is serene, cost is affordable, location was perfect for exploring Bali. Only negative I can think of was the hot water ran out quickly, but I'm too used to long showers.||||Overall, this was the perfect villa for a perfect trip, and I can't wait to...
