Chose this hotel for it location a bit out of town for my tours to Bromo and Tumpak and visiting a business close by. |The front of house staff really makes this hotel a gem. Warm and welcoming Bell and Front Desk team every time you are in the lobby. Everyone greets you and is more than willing to help where they can weather its to find a taxi or directions. The MOD's help in finding an Apotek was greatly appreciated and her advice for the umbrella was bang on! It's like she had radar and I was thankful I took it along. :)|I had a large room just off the elevator landing, It had a large bathroom that is separated into 3 areas, a spacious walk in shower with wand and rain shower, seperate toilet area and then sink/vanity with lots of space to spread out items. The rooms have lots of closet space and luggage storage area. Large 50" TV in the room and a working desk and a nice couch/lounge chair and a Kingsize bed. Lots of outlets to charge electronic devices from. Works well for solo, couple and even family with small children. ||Was worried the room would be it would be noisy as it was near the elevator but did not need to worry from foot traffic at all. You do hear the train whistle a bit but nothing that really stood out and the occasional noise from other rooms in the bathroom. I found the white noise from the A/C fan was enough to minimize any noise. You can manually turn it on or off if you like. ||Areas that could improve are constancy in Food and Beverage. First night I had a very attentive server in the restaurant and the 2nd night I was a ghost that really needed to prompt the team weather it was for a 2nd drink, or what happened to my meal as I waited some time in an empty restaurant.I believe the server was new as he was a bit timid. Perhaps they can look at closing off sections and only have people in one area when it's so slow. Also the bar in the lobby doesn't seemed to be well stalked, my last night I stopped in to grab a beer and they asked me to go the restaurant, then a manager intervened and had beers brought down. (not sure of the cultural rules here) but would think the lobby bar would be well stocked in the evening. |Also smoking on the pool deck and beside the gym was not really appreciated. I went to the beautiful outdoor pool deck to get in some laps but was met with about 12 persons all smoking like a chimney on the deck area. I waited about 15mins thinking they were just on a break from a meeting but they did not move. I then walked into he gym but again the smoke had penetrated the gym as well. Hopefully the can look at finding a solution for this. |Would definitely recommend the property as it's priced perfectly and the location is great with lots of business in the area and the major military hospital and university. Thank you to all the wonderful staff I encountered who made if a memorable stay and wish you all the...
Read moreBeen here for business travel. Got 40% disc for online booking via Accor websites. Overall the place is great and worth to try. But honestly not my cup of tea.
First the check in process was taking quite a time and the front officer still needed to confirm the breakfast from my booking. Since the building is high and there are 3 elevators provided, it will take you quite a time to going up/down especially if the room is fully booked.
For the interior and design, it's all impressive. I like how they provide the lighting so I don't even open up my curtain at all during days. TV channel lists are great, so far everything is comfortable inside the room.
But be warned if you are such a light sleeper since the hotel is located in front of the railway so you will hear the train sound inside. For me it's not a big thing.
The location itself, in my opinion is great. It is located near Maspion Square and there are many options to eat out (although the area is quiet and not that crowded). But for me who need to commute to Rungkut Industri, I don't prefer this place at all since the route to the hotel after office hour is quite annoying.
The hotel staff is very polite and nice, which will add the plus point. And one more thing, the Wi-Fi is super fast.
Then for the breakfast, there are many options to choose but sadly the taste is not satisfying. But I loved how they provide ice cream (more like gelato than ice crean to me) and the cutlery they choose is...
Read moreWe held a large annual national event in 32 provinces in Indonesia on May 27-31, 2024, I brought a large group with a number of 36 Fullboard meetings, and we used one of the meeting rooms there for 5 days, called Medang room. At first, I was confused by hotel sales because they overhandled other sales. And finally the one who handled our group was called Mbak Ayu. She was direct to me because I was the PIC of the event. One of the female staff in the Front desk agent section really helped me in the checkin process for my participants, she went back and forth to give me the room key, I love her effort. Give hes appreciation, the hospitality spirit is very visible. And I forgot her name. This hotel is already good because they are an accor group, maybe even more prepared when they are going to serve big group events with a big number of pax so that they can communicate with one door. So far for the room is very good we like the interior. The banquet staff took a long time on the first day there was no one on standby in front of the room so it was a bit difficult when we had technical problems in the room. We were not given any complimentary even though the number of our pax was big and the fullboard meeting... I asked for the compliment only additional 3pax plates for lunch and dinner but they didn't give it. No problem. Luckily our event went smoothly until it was over. But i love the view when the...
