Mr. Sumo — Restaurant in Surabaya

This restaurant serves an all-you-can-eat dishes ranging from a wide variety of meats Such as chicken, beef and seafood. You can either grill or boil them based on your likings. They also have a very small and limited corner of desserts that finishes every one second. So worry less if you didn't get the dessert because its really hard to get it. They also have drinks such as lemonade, tea, milo, etc. The restaurant is always full and you might even be on the waiting list, so i suggest you to reserve before going there if you dont want to wait. The other thing that they lack is the room temperature where its really hot especially when grilling the foods since you're right in front of it. There should be more ac provided or constant control towards the room temperature. Despite all of it, the price paid for everything was really worth it and i recommend this place for family gathering or just basic hangouts...

Mr sumo is japanese based all you can eat restaurant, good place for a medium - large group, each table has independent smoke fan exhaust so the atmosphere its pretty decent still a bit smokey, but acceptable, the variant of protein they offer is come in so much variety, beef, seasoned beef, saikoro cut beef, chicken, black pepper chicken, etc2, for the grill base and shabu2 based, but there is also a cooked food ready to eat in other counter, also ice cream , dessert and soda, all of this came in one package price which is ard +/-125k idr, so it is very much affordable, the only reason I gave 3 star is because the queque for the beef, sometime nothing is on the plate and have to wait 3-5 minute for the waitress to refilled the beef in the plate, other than that this is 4 star all you...

This place is full of smoke and it's so hot in here.

Flies are often seeing around the raw meats. Some even been staying there for quite a long time.

Limited selection with mostly chicken.

Food is so-so. Seriously there is nothing special about it.

No signs or anything about the raw food selections (They have a lot of chicken with different seasoning ). I asked the waiter about it, he said "wait let me ask the kitchen"

Even the drinks have no signs, so I ended up with just plain water. (safest choice).

The Music is the worst!!!! They put Hard Techno for 30 mins, then one Indo song, one western pop, the rest unclear sound and sometimes loud music. Sometimes there is a commercial.

Giving 2 stars for being a fair restaurant for the price. Ada harga ada...
