Grand Serpong Hotel — Hotel in Tangerang

I visited this hotel in a training event for visual disability people. As a certified Master Trainer who's concern with disability issue, I appreciate how the staff in serving and helping our disability participant. The hotel staff are responsive when I report door key problem. The hotel staff are also responsive in helping me when my sister fell in swimming pool area. 5 stars for service excellent.

The view from bedroom is nice, Cisadane river, toll, and real estate view. If you want to get better view, ask room at higher level ( 20th floor) with window heading to west or north direction. Nice city view, but you will hear a litle bit sound from truck/bus horn during traffic hours. The room facilities are standard: AC, TV, refrigerator, safety box, WI FI, and water heater. For me, sun set view with toll and river background is the best.

About value for money, the meeting package price is a litle bit cheaper then others. We got large room with standard equipment for training (WI FI, good sound system, projector). We used Zamrud room at UG floor. The toilet and Musholla are clean and large enough, but it located a litle bit far from Zamrud room. The snack break and lunch has variety menu, and on time. The taste is standard for me. The location is also,strategic enough from Tangerang and Alam Sutera area.

I loved the swimming pool at 10th floor. Thedepth around 140 cm (adult pool) and approximately 70 cm for children pool with slide. By the way, its separated from Marcopolo swimming pool. If you want to visit Marcopolo pool, you need to pay more.

For the breakfast, they serue standard menu for 3 stars hotel. Lontong sayur and Soto Ayam, porridge, fruit, salad, omlet, sausage, takoyaki are consistantly appear. I hope the Takoyaki can be more tasty. The Jamu drink is nice (Kunyit Asem and Jahe), it help me recover my voice...

I stayed here because I had a work-related business near the hotel. The reception asked for Rp 100.000 for security. I thought because the hotel had snacks or beverages in the minibar. But the receptionist said no, and it was for guarantee money, for the key card. The money would be returned later when the key card was already returned. Weird, because from my experience, hotels that ask for guarantee money usually had mini bars. No more hotels ask for it just for the key card. Maybe there were many cases of stolen key cards or some kind in this hotel.

The room was okay. It had small balcony. All of the lamps were not bright enough, just dim. It’s really annoying not having even just one lamp that’s bright. Even so in the hallway. It’s a big hallway, and with dim lights, it felt kind of spooky. The bed was not clean. Not really that dirty, but there were obvious dirt spots.

The bathroom was fully functional. Actually, this was the only positive thing that I got from this hotel. Many other hotels had the same problems of the shower not fully functional because it was getting clogged in some spots.

I couldn’t comment for the service because I only met with the receptionist, and it was just standard.

I didn’t expect much because I stayed here just to rest, but I would not stay here again. When I booked the room, I didn’t realize that this was actually a 4 star hotel. Actually, I don’t really care how many stars the hotel had, but you gotta at least give the service accordingly to the price. It felt like I was staying in a hotel that’s priced half from this hotel. Please provide at least one bright light in the room, I don’t think it will increase the cost that much. And please clean the...

My experience at this hotel was truly enjoyable and exceeded my expectations.||From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the friendly receptionist who immediately made me feel comfortable. The room I stayed in was very clean, tidy, and fragrant, with complete and well-maintained facilities. Every detail in the room felt well-considered, reflecting the high quality standards of the hotel.||In addition, I also really enjoyed the dishes served at the hotel restaurant.
