I strongly recommend ANY other hotel to the Erbil Oscar Hotel. Stayed for four days. Rooms are not bad. Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. But most importantly, you had better hide your valuables. When an item went "missing" from my room, I reported it to the front desk but they simply looked at me wondering why I had a problem with things going missing. Asked to speak to a manager, they brought me a 22 year old and insisted this was the manager...he didn't help either - suggesting the cleaning crew might have thought the item (a universal adapter/charger) belonged to the hotel. Yet refused to bring the cleaning crew to ask them. ||Finally - after informing them that either the item be returned to me or I would proceed to throw every appliance and piece of furniture in the room out the window (and no, this was not an idle threat.
