בית יציב — Hotel in Be'er Sheva

How this place has managed to get such a high average rating is an absolute mystery to me. Maybe the dorm rooms are good value for money, but for the love of god, do NOT book a double room here.

First of all, we booked a double room but received a twin room. So we thought: no big deal, we just push the beds together. This is when things started to get ugly. I don't think anyone actually hoovered underneath the beds ever. There were old crisps, bottle caps and all sorts of trash everywhere. The bathroom didn't look much better: mold inside the shower cabin, paint peeling off the ceiling everywhere. Also, the switch for switching between the overhead shower head and the handheld one was missing, so you could only use the handheld one.

The bedroom and bathroom were generally in a pretty poor state and very small as well. Now, I know this is a hostel and not a 5 Star hotel and I could have dealt with all that if the price we paid for the room reflected this. However, we paid 95€ for this room and for that price I at the very least expect a clean and functional room. At the price we paid, the room was an absolute disgrace.

Also, the Wi-Fi is terrible. It automatically kicks you every 5 minutes, meaning you to log back in all the time.

At least the staff were friendly and breakfast...

מבחינת המקום, החדרים וכו' זה נחמד , הייתי שם להשתלמות ובשביל זה זה היה בסדר. אני רוצה לציין משהו מדהים שנתקלתי בו ופשוט ריגש אותי ואת כל מי ששם לב. המקום לא מתחייב לארוחות בכשרות בד"צ ובעצם לא היה חייב לי כלום. אבל המשגיח כשרות במקום היה פשוט מ ל א ך!! הוא דאג לי ולכל מי שביקש (למרות הזמינו מראש והוא לא ידע להתארגן) בכל הארוחות לכל , לשלושה ימים!! לכל המנות והארוחות. ובעיקר משהו שהוא לגמרי לגמרי לא מובן- אמרתי לו שאני רגישה לגלוטן ולחלבי הוא פשוט הביא לי ה כ ל במיוחד! לחם ללא גלוטן מדעני סויה, גבינה צהובה טבעונית גבינה ועוד!! באמת כל מי שהיה שם הרגיש שמדובר באדם מדהים...

בבית יציב יש מספר אפשרויות הארחה. חדרי ההארחה מיועדים בראש ובראשונה לאורחי הפעילות החינוכית במתחם. ישנה הפרדה בין שני אגפים שכל אחד מהם נמצא בקצה אחר של המתחם וניתן לתעל זה לצרכיכם. החדרים נעימים ונוחים, מתוחזקים היטב אפשר לנוח בהם ולנפוש בהם ולאגור כוחות מחודשים להמשך פעילותכם אצלנו. היינו שם בפעילות אירוח של שבת חתן. שבת שלימה, האוכל עממי טעים שירות טוב ולא חסר כלום. צוות המטבח והשף דאגו לכל דבר שחסר.

כמו כן האווירה אווירה טובה עצים וצמחי וצל על מנת להנחות מהטבע. במרחק הליכה משם יש את פרק המדע, העיר העתיקה, מתחם הרכבת ועוד מקומות עתיקים ויפים.
