Ahuzat Haosher — Hotel in Tiberias

I stayed in this place against my better judgement because the hotel I had initially booked was not pet friendly. The pet friendly status was what drew me. I thought "how bad can it be ?" Folks its bad ! Not the worst but bad. |The hotel needs repairs. In our room the wallpaper was separating from the wall. There was fury on the base board of the bed, tiles and grout missing from the hot tub and the bathroom door was rusted. |Here is the ugly thing is the hot tub will flood if it is not running or draining the water with the drain flap half way. The switch to turn it on was behind a cabinet. It flooded - it was then we were given the instructions on how the thing was rigged. This ramshackle overpriced establishment was one if the worst hotels we have ever stayed at (and we lived and traveled many years in Southeast Asia and china). |For those that enjoy the company of all the guests that pass through the hallways at night and the stereos of the cars passing by the intersection, this is the perfect place.|The staff was very good at doing the least possible to help, even with renting bicycles from the adjacent shop which is also owned by the same owner.|We have experience with curtain-less showers, but never before has the whole bathroom (and I mean the ceiling as well) gotten wet after every shower (or rather sprinkler system).|While the location is great, the nearby aviv hostel and emily's looked like more favorable options. המקום הכי גרוע שבו התארחתי בישראל. ריח של ביוב בשירוקחת) ריח של בית חולים גריאטרי בתוך החדר. בחדר נוסף, בו התארחו הורי, הייתה נזילה בשירותים כך שהכל צף בין הבלטות. המקום לא ממש דומה לתמונות. תחושה של הזנחה ומקום שעומד להתפורר. נכנסו לג'קוזי ואחרי 5 דקות גילינו שג'וק משקיף עלינו. המדרגה בדרך לג'קוזי רופפת , כמעט התהפכתי. הרבה דברים נראים במצב רע במקום, מתפורר, מלוכלך ושחוק. יום לאחר הניסיון הראשון להיכנס לג'קוזי, הג'וק עדיין היה שם. כשברחתי מהמקום תוך כדי מלמול של גועל נפש, אחת העובדות אמרה "זה מקום פתוח" בושה של שירות. מדובר בחדר סגור עם דלת. הסיבה היחידה שהגענו למקום לא היה המחיר הזול (היינו צריכים לחשוד) אלא שאפשר להגיע אליו עם כלבים. פה ושם הם נבחו והעירו לנו על כך. באמת? האם טרחתם לומר מראש שאסור לנבוח? מה היינו אמורים לעשות? להשאיר תורן שישמור על הכלבים כשאנחנו מטיילים, כי אי אפשר לקחת כלב לכל מקום. לרגע לא היינו חושבים להגיע למקום אם היה נאמר לנו שהכלבים צריכים לשתוק ושאסור להם לנבוח. היינו צריכים להזכיר כמה פעמים שיטפלו בביוב. טיפלו או לא טיפלו הסירחון היה עד הרגע שעזבנו. כשהזכרתי פעם נוספת, אחת העובדות טענה שהכלבים שלנו מסריחים ושכל המלון מתלונן. לא היה ולא נברא. כשאבא שלי התלונן על הנזילה והסירחון העובדת אמרה לו "מה אתה מצפה מ 200 ש"ח ללילה". זאת אמורה להיות תשובה?!? נפלתם על הראש? אגב, שילמנו יותר מ 200 ש"ח ללילה. פשוט בושה - תודעת שירות נוראית. מקום גועל נפש. תת רמה - עדיף לישון באוהל. במקום להתנצל על הפדיחות והתקלות ב""אחוזה""- העובדים חיפשו תירוצים וזרקו האשמות שאין ביניהם כל קשר למציאות. מקווה שאף תייר לא יגיע למקום - כי "אחוזת האושר" לא קשורה בשום קשר לאושר ושום קשר לאחוזה. בושה למדינה אם...
