Great stay! We booked a full board stay for 2 nights and it was great! Stay are very helpful and pleasant, time are big and comfortable, the mattress is very comfortable and I was pleased with the extra pillows menu they let you choose from, the millet pillow in particular was very comfortable. The bathroom was big and had all that you need from shampoo to body wash and lotions. The balcony was nice and private. The food was good, the buffet in particular, we personally were not impressed by the a la carte menu but people have different preference when it comes to food and the buffet had a wife variety and a great selection of good quality food so there is no way you leave hungry, it had something for everyone! The facilities at the hotel were remarkable with all pools having multiple hydromassage stations and water jets, it had something for everyone. All pools and facilities were well maintained and kept clean. The water temperature was warm and nice. The spa offered a wide range of services from facials to massages to mud therapy! We tried one from each and we loved the mud therapy in particular but also the facial was so relaxing and made my face glow! The only recommendation I have is to better organize the flow of people at the buffet as it was chaotic, however, the staff made sure that every item here refilled even before it's completely empty. This was definitely a 5 star stay and I can't wait to go back soon!

I have to edit my review of my favourite spa in the world from 5 to 3 stars, hopefully only temporarily. Food was amazing as usual. The basic smart room is already great standard but we did not like the plastic cover for the mattress (luckily promptly removed, as soon as we asked). Staff was very attentive as usual and answered to all our needs. But some were coldly professional (we used to have such lovely chats with everyone in the past ten years) and we really did not get on with one from the restaurant (apologies accepted, though). One pool was closed so we were all staying in one area. The outside sauna area was only open in the afternoon. People were less well behaved than usual (not Mioni's fault btw) but that meant that there were people making video-calls in the pool and people booking their seat with their towel and disappearing. Also we don't think that the price at the bistrot is very reasonable. We would recommend to get a full board and take advantage of their amazing lunch instead. I can't wait to go back though and have all the reasons to give them five stars again.

I was there for a week and received a very reasonable price for my five days stay. I just booked the breakfast and not lunch nor dinner. The breakfast was very good, comparable with a German four star hotel or even better! This is a big plus. The swimming pool was perfect in temperature and everything very clean and neatly designed. They also had massage points in the water or a bicycle in the pool, which was cool. You can book massages, fango and other health services easily. The staff was superfriendly and patient, very helpful and attentive. I highly recommend to stay here. Just the last two days the mosquitos became a plague. The hotel already took messures against it on time. You felt in this hot weather and palm trees around really being on vacation. You can get also a bicycle to rent for free, which is great to explore the areas around. Even close by are good fish restaurants.

Hotel with a big potential unfortunately not yet fulfilled

For years our family visits Abano at least one time a year. This year we decided to try this hotel mainly because of good reviews.

Pros

Swimming pools

Three big swimming pools with strong water jets and area with saunas and snow room, etc. Clean and well maintained. Beautiful garden and flowers all around.

Food

Very tasty and fresh at the restaurant. Breakfasts are rich. 15 euro lunch is an absolute steal. Also diners and selection of wines were nice. Desserts are a bit of a lower quality, but are ok.

Cons

Staff

In general most of the staff is stressed, indifferent and rather cold. There are some nice exceptions like lady chef in the dinning room with a beautiful smile, Eleonora at the reception who is very kind. But most of the staff just does their job without any additional warmness and kindness. It something that hotel management and ownership should really look into if they aspire to develop and become better in a highly competitive market. Housekeeping staff is particularly stretched and stressed. They run to make up rooms as they are given too many rooms in one shift. The most appalling is head of the restaurant who is very rude with his staff. We heard him being very rude and using foul language when he was scolding his staff. It’s absolutely unacceptable in any line of work!

Triple standard rooms are absolutely not comfortable during the warm period. Exposed to the sun all day (situated on the south side), but with an old air conditioning system which is directed straight on the beds without proper regulation. As a result, not relaxing during the night and I’m leaving a hotel with a flu and a headache. No higher class rooms were available to make an exchange. Recommend higher class rooms if travelling with kids.

Dinning room has an unfriendly shape and design. Buffet type of lunch might not be for everyone.

Customer-unfriendly policies The hotel applies some very strange policies which are not customer orientated. You can’t order coffee after lunch. Bar is closed. You are in Italy and you can’t as per Italian tradition have coffe after lunch!? Very limited selection of drinks during the dinner time. If you ask something out of ordinary (draft beer for example), it’s not possible to accomandate. But for some strange reason for lunch is possible? Very confusing for the guests.

Also you need to beg for room service as it’s also something out ordinary. Especially when somebody is not well!

Summary This hotel has good bones! Could be a top hotel in the area if management takes seriously customer feedback and implements...

If everything goes smoothly, this hotel may seem satisfactory. However, as soon as an issue arises, you’ll quickly realize that their primary focus is on collecting your payment, with no flexibility or willingness to address guest concerns. We faced uncomfortably high temperatures in our room, but instead of adjusting the air conditioning (which was supposed to be available), we were told to open the window – leading to an influx of bugs. The staff’s response was indifferent, and even when a room change was eventually possible, they charged extra instead of offering any gesture of goodwill. In short, the hotel offers zero support when problems occur, making it a disappointing choice for anyone expecting quality service.

A clarification after the owner's response:

It is not true that I was offered to have the heating in the bathroom turned off. When I raised my concern about the room temperature (27.5°C, which rose even further overnight), my request was met with reluctance, unfriendliness, and a lack of understanding. I then asked to speak with the management, as I intended to leave the hotel the next day but was unwilling to pay the full amount for the remaining nights. I was informed that the manager was unavailable for the next few days and was told that if I left early, I would still be charged for the full booking. At that point, I admit my tone became less friendly.

The next day, I was suddenly informed that a room of a higher category on the north side had become available. Having had no sleep at all that night and seeing no other option, I accepted the room change. However, I made it clear that I expected a gesture of goodwill from the hotel, given the terrible first night and the unhelpful response to my initial request. I was then told that the hotel’s policy strictly prohibits any price reductions.

At no point did I threaten to leave a negative review. It was only after my stay that I decided to share my experience in a review.

Following the publication of my review, I was contacted by the hotel by phone, and they asked what could be done to have me remove it. Suddenly, they talked about potentially offering a refund for the surcharge for the upgraded room. So much for the hotel’s “strict policies.”

As I mentioned at the beginning, the hotel does not prioritize its guests' comfort and satisfaction, and I can only advise others to consider alternative...

We recently enjoyed a 3-night stay at Hotel Mioni Pezzato & SPA in Abano Terme, and overall, it was a truly wonderful and rejuvenating experience. Highlights include the Exceptional Spa Facilities: The variety and quality of the thermal pools were truly impressive. From the indoor pools to the outdoor thermal circuit, every area was well-maintained, clean, and inviting. The thermal water treatments left us feeling completely relaxed and revitalized. Our very comfortable suite: Our room was spacious, elegantly furnished, an abundance of storage and extremely quiet — ideal for a restful stay. The bed was especially comfortable, and we appreciated the daily housekeeping that kept everything spotless. Service & Staff: The staff were consistently professional, courteous, and eager to assist; very focused on providing a wonderful guests experience. Whether it was at the reception, the spa, or housekeeping, everyone contributed to making our stay as pleasant as possible. Atmosphere: The hotel offers a calming ambiance, perfect for couples or anyone seeking wellness and relaxation. The tasteful decor and lush garden surroundings added to the overall tranquil setting. The gardens really were an oasis of calmness in which even our kids enjoyed it. Area for Improvement: Restaurant Layout & Buffet Traffic: The only downside we experienced was in the main restaurant area. While the food quality was good, the layout of the buffet area felt crowded and busy, especially during peak hours. There was quite a bit of foot traffic and movement around the buffet, which took away from what could have been a more relaxed dining experience. A redesign of the space or improved flow control could make a...
