Extremely disappointing experience at this highly overrated restaurant. After we asked our waiter for more time to review the menu, she never returned to take our order, leaving us unattended for 20 minutes. We had to flag down another server to take our order. When the food arrived, everything was dumped on the table at once, resulting in cold main course by the time we finished our appetizers. The host, who had initially greeted us, spent all time socializing and drinking with other patrons. To top it off, we were never offered dessert or a complimentary limoncello, unlike other tables. Read moreMe and the kids found this little gem on our trip trough Veneto, Italy. Located in Abano Terme, a few minutes outside Padua, Ristorante Aubergine is so worth the visit (and the money).
We absolutely loved the atmosphere, the mixed crowd, the personell that was attentive and knowledgeable. A big extra PLUS for over 50 wines offered by the glass, most from local wineyards.

I have very reasonable expectation when dining after the global pandemic, but I feel Aubergine has not been able to find sufficient staff to keep up with a full diner course out on the terrace as the interior was empty and service was quite slow.
