It was very cold when we stayed at this campsite, and there had been snow on the mountains the previous night after we travelled from Paestum. We had a very warm reception on the site and all the staff were welcoming & friendly. Although the site didn't seem to be listed under ACSI, we were offered the low season discount. The setting was very rural and the walk into Alberobello was straightforward ... we particularly liked the friendly Jays and it was good to hear the Scops Owls & Woodpeckers. Even at this time of year there were several people camping, but the site is more geared towards summer business. The toilet blocks were not heated and the water was not consistently hot. The open-sided dishwashing facility was difficult in the cold weather and there was no hot water. I appreciate the risk of freezing pipes in the winter, but 'all-year' sites should maintain some of the basic elements, however limited they are. At this time of year, the bar & shop were also closed. I'm sure that the campsite is wonderful in warm weather and during the summer months, but there are a few things that need addressing for winter visitors. None of these disappointments would put us off going again, as we're used to travelling...

Campsite 15 minutes walk from Alberobello, by bike 10 minutes. You can choose your own spot, so everybody's placing the camper/caravan/minivan on a illogical place. Some of the bigger campers and caravans had to leave the campsite because of this! A lot of barking dogs around, also a lot cats on the campsite. Fresh bread available. Showers have thermostatic taps, water swings from hot to cold (all of them). 1 shower has a hook, the rest is broken. What will it cost? €20,- to fix all of it? No soap, no toilet rolls or toilet seats. When the campsite is full, there are too less toilets, only 1 building. We had an ACSI card which was shown at the entrance. We paid and forgot to bring it with us. Afterwards we didn't get a refund because we had paid by card. If we paid cash we could get a refund🤔! People can leave the campsite at any time, because the gate is not locked🤔. We would not...

We were on this campsite for 7 nights, because we wanted to cycle in the valley, and we were very satisfied about our stay. Small campsite, a lot of trees and shade, simple but efficient services and friendly staff. The campsite is situated next to a tennis court (with bar/restaurant) just outside (beautiful but very touristic) Alberobello. 5 to 10 minutes by bike( all the way down; back up takes longer😊). There are cycling itineraries in the vicinity, but the starting points are not easy to find once you’re in a village or town. The tourist information centre in Alberobello could help us out, the one in Locorotondo could not. But it is beautiful cycling amongst old olive trees, vines and trulli.|A drive by car to the beach in Monopoli took us 45 minutes, to Ostuni a bit longer.|In summary: nice small campsite in the beautiful Valle d’Istria, ideal place to visit the...

A large great camping very close to a beautiful park with many walking paths. It is a short bicycle ride to the fabulous town of Alberobello (way back might require a bit of stamina though - expect some shortness of breath as it is a rather long uphill). Nice and helpful staff and warm water at all times included in the price.

Camp is closed right now, but we were lucky the owner was on the site and allowed us to sleep over night. The position is much better than the other camp in town, there is a nice short walk to trulli area. Just perfect.
