We LOVED our stay at the Trulli Resort. Check-in was easy and we were showed around our room and the outdoor facilities. The room (and the outside of the resort) was spotless. So clean! The room was cozy for a family of 4 (kids are 14 and 7) but it was just fine for 1 night. Of course a bit of a bigger space with indoor seating aside from the beds would have been ideal but we were sleeping in a Trulli so we were ok with being cozy for 1 night. We would have liked more space but understand that we were in a Trulli and those aren’t spacious. The beds (including a trundle bed for the kids) were very comfortable. We had the pool to ourselves which was amazing! The pool was not heated but was refreshing since it was hot outside. Parking is free and onsite. |They offered a welcome snack basket (can also be used for breakfast) as well as some free drinks (water, wine, milk, coffee, tea). |The road to get to the resort is unpaved and very tight. We drove a Ford Focus and we just barely fit, but we did. Although the resort is walking distance to the main touristy area with shops and restaurants, we decided to drive there instead. We parked in one of the paying parking lots and then walked all around. I highly recommend staying a night at this resort. We loved our stay and Alberobello is beautiful -...
Read moreMy partner and I spent last week travelling around Puglia and spent the last 3 days at Trulli resort. We were a little unsure as to what to expect on arrival as you dont get a lot of info on the accomodation itself prior to arrival DONT LET THIS PUT YOU OFF! - directions etc were great and its easy to find. It literally couldnt be a more beautiful settting. The quality of accomodation is excellent and the pool area and gardens are stunning. They have been tastefully converted with great attention to detail. The lady that met us couldnt have been more helpful and attentive. It is a wonderful place to relax and in terms of location you can walk into the centre of the town in ten minutes. It is a pretty and lively town with beautiful Trullis dotted on either side of the main road. I would strongly recommend Ristorante L'Aratro we ate there on the last evening and it was the perfect place to end a...
Read moreWhat can I say about this place! Absolutely stunning! We enjoyed a fabulous stay in one of the two suites for 3 nights in August! I cannot fault it. The suites are divine. Minimalist traditional Trulli with exposed stonework (which I love) and also gorgeous furnishings. Just beautiful. We were the only people here and so had the stunning infinity pool to ourselves for the entire 3 days. Lovely stocked mini bar and fantastic snacks and lovely coffee machine. A short walk down a steep hill takes you into the centre of beautiful Alberobello. So a great location as away from the hustle and bustle and so peaceful and quiet at the resort. Views are fantastic. Rosmeri our host could not do enough for us - she was readily available to help with all our requests and helped us fix up a visit to a vineyard with tasting and a tour of Alberobello by Segway! Just brilliant. We’ll be...
