A small, friendly hotel in a historic building with lots of character. 7 rooms surrounding a central courtyard with a beautiful garden. There is a small sitting room and a few outside nooks to relax in. They offered some evening meals which were very good.We visited off season, in March. So Riola Sardo doesn't offer a lot, except access to many stunning beaches, mainly in nature reserves.

It's a nice place but a little bit dark in the room. There's a nice garden but no easy chairs to sit outside. When you like to sit sheltered, there is no problem. The wifi is very unstable, only in the neighbourhood of the office you have a good connextion. The chairs on the terrace are very uncomfortable. A swimmingpoil is missing here, it's really a pity !

Charming place with courteous staff. The rooms and garden are lovingly cared for. Dinner is very good as well. The owners take a great effort to make the best of your stay and guide you through their recommendations of places to see and restaurants to visit. Very nice!

Hotel Lucrezia is a unique place and certainly one of the best hotels in Sardinia, so requires a detailed review. The hotel is labeled a 3-star hotel but in reality, it delivers a sophisticated experience that is commensurate with a 5 star boutique hotel. While this hotel has limited service owing to the small size and concierge/front desk who leaves at 8 pm, the quality and authenticity of the property is unmistakable. The hotel building was created from an historic granary that is many hundreds of years old and well preserved. Guest rooms and common areas have been created from rooms that are original to the granary and feature many original antiques and original rustic elements of the granary. Two foot thick stone walls with multilayered wood shutters, windows and interior shutters keep it cool inside guest rooms during the day and permit guests to enjoy Sardinias dry temperate climate alfresco, or there is central AC for those who need it. Room decor is high-quality traditional furnishings commensurate with an aristocratic country estate, and much of it built-in and original to the building. Most guest rooms have well maintained traditional down filled upholstered furniture that are not typically found in properties at this (or any) price point. The property is located in the center of the rural village of Riola, the heart of the great beach destination of Oristano Province in SW Sardinia. Surrounded by vast open farmlands and some of the most famous beaches in the Mediterranearn, Riola is an authentic Sardinian town and the perfect base to explore the countryside and beaches, and to take in the relaxed lifestyle that can only be found in this part of the world. The hotel is a short walk to one of Sardinia's best new restaurants (Ristorante Su Murruai,) a lovely town square with cafe/bar, and the spectacular Riu di Mare Foghe, a saltwater river that runs through town to Sardinia's largest salt marsh and a vast resource of natural biodiversity. The hotel and its courtyard are entirely surrounded by a centuries old 8' wall that houses ancient fig trees, Wisteria and other mature flora that give the hotel the feeling of a century-old villa, replete with shady garden spots for alfresco breakfast, afternoon spritzes served by the hotel's congenial staff and quiet evening places to read and chat (bring mosquito spray). The hotel has the requisite European breakfast served in the garden (or historic dining room) with fruits, cakes, cured meats and local cheeses. But what is most special here is Riola itself, a place where the world still moves at human speed. If you are a seasoned traveler, this is a not to be missed hotel/village experience...and Il conto will leave you...

During our Sardinia tour we stayed 3 days at this " hotel ".|This old olive factory has 6 bedrooms for holiday.|Each room has a typical Sardanian atmosphere.|We stayed in room nr. 5, Menta.|It's really a wonderfull place.|Outside: a normal house, but then you step through the brown wooden door into a total different world.|A green place with lovely music, all kinds of plants, flowers, trees and a turtle !!|Our room is looking old but very comfortable. Nice furniture !|Because I'm disabled we had a disabled room, the bathroom with all I can handle.|The personal is so friendly and willing to help.|At the first night we made a reservation for the menu, 2 times a week there is the possibility to take a 4 courses menu for € 35,00 p.p.|We had 2 different sea food, muscles and swordfish.|Spaghetti with shrimps, grilled octopus, fresh fruit with ice cream.|We had a lovely first night.|After a good sleep there was a very good breakfast, really excellent.|For us it's a place...
