Das Hotel liegt gut und als Basis für Ausflüge in die Region bestens geeignet. Der Betreiber und seine Mutter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Restaurant war leider geschlossen und die einzige kulinarische Erfahrung war das Frühstück. Das ist jedoch eine echte Zumutung (siehe Foto). Wie man so etwas anbieten kann ist mir ein Rätsel. Wer also von einem tollen Start in den Tag, mit einem gemütlichen Frühstück ausgeht ist hier definitiv fehl am Platz. Leider gibt es am Ort auch keine Frühstück - Alternativen. Das Zimmer war riesig, ist aber in die Jahre gekommen und hat zum Teil Renovierungsbedarf. Es ist alles da was man sich vorstellt aber nicht immer funktionstüchtig. So lies sich die Klimaanlage nur auf Minimum 27 Grad einstellen(?). Der Fernseher hat keine internationalen Programme. Die Badewanne braucht eine gewisse Fitness zum Ein- und Ausstieg. Das Bett könnte bequemer sein. Das Tor zur Einfahrt muss immer über eine Klingel geöffnet werden, was manchmal zu längeren Wartezeiten führt. Wir waren über ein langes Wochenende. Fr.+Sa. ist es extrem laut - wenn die jungen Italiener ihre Zweiräder vorführen. Da das Hotel nahe dem Aussichtsplatz liegt geht das im Minutentakt, dass irgendein getuntes Auto oder Zweirad vor dem Fenster dröhnt. Da die Klima die gewünschte Temperatur nicht liefert muss man die Fenster öffnen, was neben dem Lärm eine Mückenplage nach sich zieht. Es ist auch vorteilhaft wenn man Hundeliebhaber ist. Manchmal riecht es stark nach Hund und die eine oder andere Trettbombe begegnet einem auch im schönen Garten. Die Hunde sind aber liebenswert! Man kann nur hoffen, dass die Auswirkungen von Corona bald überwunden sind und der Anspruch der auf der Webseite vermittelt wird, wieder Realität ist. Wir wünschen dem Betreiber das Beste.

Esperienza terribile. Ho dormito qui per lavoro, 170€ a testa per dormire nella junior suite che non è dotata nemmeno di un porta carta igienica. Il posto sarebbe molto bello se fosse tenuto un pó meglio e se la proprietaria non insultasse i clienti a colazione. Nella foto vedete la ridicola colazione proposta, alla mia richiesta di un orzo, di un po’ di frutta o di qualsiasi altra cosa pur di non mangiare quella torta per altro poco buona, la proprietaria è scattata dicendo che loro non sapevano che l’hotel sarebbe stato pieno, che non hanno personale (ma in realtà vedo dalle recensioni che la colazione “minimal” è la norma) e che alla fine “voi giovani non avete voglia di lavorare”…già al mio arrivo la signora era nervosa e sgarbata perchè secondo lei ero arrivata presto, ma avevamo concordato con l’altro proprietario che avremmo fatto colazione alle 7,30 perché alle 8 dovevamo andare via. Le ho detto che, secondo me, se sapevano che non avrebbero potuto offrire una colazione decente per vari motivi, avrebbero quantomeno potuto abbassare i prezzi o trovare soluzioni alternative. Non lo avessi mai detto….mi ha detto, in malo modo, che era solo una mia opinione e che non conta perché io non so niente, e poi sono una giovane quindi cosa ne posso sapere dato che “i giovani non hanno voglia di lavorare”…non ce l’ho più fatta: ho lasciato lì quella vergognosa colazione e me ne sono andata. Mai capitata una cosa così! E se vogliamo dirla tutta, il piano terra puzza di cane, in quanto ci sono due bellissimi cagnolini che accolgono i clienti: aspetto per me molto piacevole in quanto amante dei cani, ma magari sarebbe da rivedere la pulizia generale. Non tornerò mai piu!

Das Zimmer wurde über meine Firma gebucht und es ist das schlechteste Hotel in dem ich bislang untergebracht wurde. Es ist mir unerklärlich wie hier 4 Sterne zustande kommen. Die Zimmer sind schrecklich, laut und kalt. Die Inneneinrichtung ist mindestens 60 Jahre alt und absolut nicht schön oder gar Vintage. Sie ist einfach alt und untergekommen. Es erinnert mich nur an die Horrorfilme, welche in Hotels spielen. Die Lampen hängen schief an der Wand, die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist Mangelhaft. Und die Bettdecke ist eine kratzige Wolldecke. Bis hier wäre es ok, wenn das Zimmer 60€ die Nacht kosten würde. Allerdings verlangen die Inhaber viel mehr für die Nacht. Ich war vorher im Horizon untergebracht, dort sind für 110€ die Nacht sogar der Spa Bereich mit Saunen, Pools und einem perfekten Frühstücksbuffet inkludiert. In diesem Hotel gibt es laut meinen Kollegen zum Frühstück eine Scheibe Brot ab 08:00. Um 08:00 beginnt ein normaler Arbeitstag. Wie kann hier das Frühstück in einem Hotel beginnen? Das ist auf kompletter Linie eine absolute Zumutung. Ich habe den Besitzer damit konfrontiert und er sagte wo mein Problem sei, es ist doch alles sauber. SAUBER? Das kann ja wohl kein Maßstab für ein Zimmer sein für das man so viel Geld bezahlt?!? Weiterhin habe ich den Inhaber gebeten, das vorausgezahlte Geld meiner Firma zu erstatten, da ich in dem "Hotel" nicht übernachten werde. Er sagte dass er das Geld nicht erstatten wird. Ich hoffe, nur, dass meine Firma dafür nicht bezahlt. Ich habe lieber in meinem Auto geschlafen als in dieser Unterkunft.

We selected this hotel as the last stopover on our way back from Nice to Germany to pamper ourselves one last time before our vacation ends. The building is just lovely - it's really like staying in a castle of medieval times. Our room had a high ceiling, large wooden bed and other interior which looked like it has been build hundreds of years ago (and probably was). Fortunately the bathroom was more modern although I'v never seen shower appliances like this before. They looked like taken out of Nemo's Nautilus and thus didn't work properly (which, however, was not a big problem). They have a wonderful lounge area and inner patio all with flowers and old furniture and a smell of antiqueness around it. It could have been a great place to stay - if it weren't for the current owners...||||This place definitely deserves better. We got the impression that the current owners (apparantly family-owned) are not really interested in running a hotel. Upon arrival they were more or less suprised that guests showed up although we booked via Booking. We seemed to be the only guests on a Friday night in high season! The welcoming was cool and distant and we were asked if we're planning to stay out late tonight since someone would have to stay awake for us to return. The only other girl working there seems to be afraid of foreigners and looked very unpleased and sometimes bored. Breakfast is a joke consisting of a cup of coffee, toasted pieces of baguette (from the previous day) and some packed jam. I don't know how they got their 4 star rating but to us this isn't comprehensible. Apparently the son of the family is a good chef who serves pricey dishes in a restaurant section of the hotel. However, the entire athmosphere was so strange that we decided to find a pizza...

It offers the right level of tranquillity without being too far removed from the rest of the world: Varese is not far and Malpensa Airport is easy within reach.||Bathrooms are all newly renovated with modern fittings, but without losing the "classic" feeling.||Beds are really comfortable and if you are in need of a sound night of sleep, well this is the place.|Bed linen is of the best quality.||Breakfast is intimate and it has a true "family feeling".||It is served to you with a smile, rather than the copious all you can eat buffets offered by large chains. And the welcoming smile at the breakfast room makes up for anything you may be used to, but that you really don't need.||Toasted bread with jams, croissants, yogurts... And all varieties of coffees .||But with a heart ||And this place has a legacy. Family owned for generations it was an intellectual circle where topics like politics, literature, fashion were on the agenda of the intelligenza frequenting the "mai intees" club.||Ah.. I was forgetting .. "Mai Intees" is the local dialect for "never agreeing". And it gives you the idea of the variety of ideologies and beliefs who met there to openly discuss, but never argue ||It could be the perfect place to hold a...

saw five hotels this summer and this was by far my favorite.||||The moment i arrived and was greeted by the owner Paolo and heard sweet jazz tunes playing in the background i knew i was gonna like this place.||Do not expect a perfectly managed and groomed place,it's got more of an old world family run charm.||||Room was large and had that same old world charm,like time stood still.But things like the new bathroom and aircon give you all the modernity you need.||||The only one who speaks English is Paolo,his staff and lovely mother do not.||Again something i personally liked.His mother explained our options for dinner in Italian and we managed to get everything sorted perfectly.||||favorite moment was sitting in the garden with a cold drink and Paolo picking Courgette flowers from his garden en frying them for us[best thing i ate all summer]||||Very much recommended if you like old world Italian charm ,we arrived here coming from a 5 star Hilton in Rome,and it felt like a breath of fresh air.||||I will certainly try to return...
