Club Malaspina Hotel & Resort — Hotel in Bosa

During our first visit to Sardinia we took a one day trip to Bosa, a cute small town about 1 hour south of Alghero where we stayed in the beginning of this month. After a nice stroll in town we found a beach with beach chairs and umbrellas. The guy who looked after this section was very unfriendly and told us that we had to go to Mala Spina hotel to pay for the chairs and an umbrella. It was about 10-15 minute walk through hot sand across the road. So my husband and I started walking and entered the hotel's lobby where a nicer guy who spoke some English sold us 3 wristbands for 3 chairs & umbrella ( €10 each ) for my mom and her 2 friends, plus 2 entries to their pool for my husband and I ( €5 each ) but he told us the pool wasn't open yet. He said it opens at 3pm. So we walked back to the beach to give my mom and her friends the wristbands. When we returned to the hotel at 3.45pm to use the pool, the guy who watched the beach chairs earlier was watching the pool. Nobody was at the pool area, only us. He stated that we must wear rubber hats while in the pool. I explained to him that I wasn't going to wet my hair. I had it pulled up in a clip. Since he only spoke Italian, he sent me inside to talk to the front desk and I explained the guy who sold us the wristbands earlier that I will not make my hair wet. He insisted that I pay for 2 rubber hats ( €5 ). I wasn't happy about it, I asked him why he didn't warn me about this rule before. He didn't say anything. I told him I wanted my money back since we won't be staying. 2 other employees came from the back which I assume was his manager or whatever. Very rude people. I told that woman we've never seen a rule like this anywhere else in Europe or USA. What made me write this review was their unprofessional attitude we received from employees of this hotel. They clearly don't appreciate tourists. The hotel was completely empty and it tells me something. Bad service is for us #1 reason why we would never recommend a place to...

Probabilmente la prima recensione negativa che mi capita di scrivere. Ma veramente è stata un'esperienza da dimenticare. Sorvoliamo sul discorso della struttura datata e non tenuta in condizioni ottimali,sorvoliamo sulle camere con arredi vecchi e poco funzionali,sorvoliamo su doccia e sanitari vecchi e appena utilizzabili,sorvoliamo sull impianto di climatizzazione rumoroso e gli ultimi giorni "gocciolante"...la nota peggiore è stata la gestione di quei pochi servizi fondamentali per permettere ad una persona di passare una vacanza rilassante. Gli afflussi al ristorante per i pasti erano lentissimi,code enormi per poi spesso arrivare quando la pietanza era già terminata. Qualità cucina gravemente insufficiente. Spesso cibi mezzo crudi,o troppo cotti,insapore o dal cattivo sapore. I ragazzi in sala nonostante manifestassero poca esperienza nel settore, data la giovane età, ci mettevano veramente tanto impegno e sono sempre stati cordiali anche nel sorbirsi lamentele delle quali non avevano assolutamente colpa. Al contrario pessima la parte dei gestori, che ad ogni minimo tentativo di suggerimento per migliorare la situazione quasi deridevano la proposta. Conti del bar che non tornavano (per la pessima gestione del rendiconto consumazioni) e quando veniva fatto notare si veniva trattati da "pezzenti" non abbastanza facoltosi da permettersi una vacanza. La spiaggia non è ai vertici degli standard sardi, ma quella non è assolutamente una colpa della proprietà. Piscina abbastanza carina e funzionale. Animazione sufficiente, purtroppo era presente un solo animatore che ovviamente non poteva fare miracoli e doveva spesso contare sulla partecipazione del pubblico per riuscire a organizzare anche il minimo intrattenimento. Era presente un'altra animatrice, Simona, che si occupava bene del miniclub ed era molto benvoluta da tutti i bambini ed un "tuttofare" (Mattia), simpaticissimo che non si limitava al supporto tecnico-audio e fare da DJ, ma nella serata sarda si è dimostrato un ottimo musicista e cantante.. Oltre che aiuto cuoco e tante altre mansioni. Personale della pulizia camere e governante, sempre attente e gentili, infatti nonostante la situazione camere fosse abbastanza scarsa , risultavano sempre pulite e ordinate con cambi biancheria puntualissimi. Purtroppo l'impegno e la buona volontà del personale non possono bastare se dal gestore non arriva una vera scossa di miglioramento ed amore...

I had an unforgettable stay at Hotel Malaspina – truly one of the best times I’ve ever had! My only regret is not bringing my family along, as it would have made the atmosphere even more special.The hotel is absolutely beautiful: spacious, with a breathtaking panoramic view of the sea, a lovely swimming pool, a well-equipped gym, and even a private area on the beach to relax in peace.The food at the restaurant was simply amazing – delicious dishes with great variety. I want to sincerely thank all the staff at Hotel Malaspina for their kindness, professionalism, and excellent service.I really hope to come back soon, this time with my family, for an even more perfect stay.
