Meran 2000 — Hotel in Burggrafenamt - Burgraviato

I give one star just because of bad organization. You have to wait 3-4 hour for ski rental in down station and the school up there trick you to buy early lesson timing which you cannot attend due to rental delay. Even if you come at 8 you cannot attend any lesson before 12 due to rental delay. They know it very well. After that they don't reschedule or refund any money. Just a waste of time and your hard earn money. Bring your own equipment and donot rely on them . The place is good and beautiful. But the SK Sci school is a worst example of professionalism. The new playground at the top of the Merano 2000 cable car is awesome! Kids absolutely loved it. Also have access to plenty of hikes of varying difficulty that leave from the mountain station of the Merano 2000 cable car. Additionally, you can take the Naifjoch cable car near the mountain station of Merano 2000 to get a little further into the mountain and shave some distance off the hikes if you’ve got little kids. Extremely expensive to go up the cable car (not even 5 minutes?). The last one down is at 17:00 (5 PM). It's very early, especially in the Summer when the light is amazing past 19:00 (7 PM).

They charge you premium prices but the level of service is low, prices are high, hiking paths (if they can be called like this) are basically muddy roads for local cars, the signs indicating the trails are incorrect or nonexistent at some road splits, etc.

There are several other cable cars going up the mountains in the area, so don't get stuck on this one if you're here for...
