Showing up at 18:00 without reservation at the start of the Italian summer holiday month of August we felt just happy that we got 2 rooms for a night within walking distance from our intended climb the next day. The reception was very friendly although there was a bit of a mix up with the price for the night: Speaking German we were first told that it would be 59€ for a night half-board. It then turned out that Italians do their numbers the same way as in English which made it 95€. We settled for b&b for 59€ and planned for dinner a la carte. Although even that was a bit hectic because dinner started at 19:00 but when we returned from a quick recce of the climb at 20:15 we only got a selection between lasagne and 2 different types of spags with a side salad. But the service was very friendly and the spaghetti nice enough. The rooms were reasonably sized, with a good hot shower and a comfortable if narrow and short bed. There is good free WiFi reception in the room and with parking for free included we felt lucky enough (it can get really busy on the roads and parking gets tricky). It was a good location for our climb but it was also a bit away from anywhere else (the only other building is tourist...

Stopped off for coffees and hot chocolate whilst hiking in the area. "NO NO NO, cash only!" after the lady prepared the drinks and I offered my card to pay. Luckily we had some cash since it's still needed in a lot of places in Italy, but the look from the lady was pretty shocking and unnecessary I feel. The man was friendlier and the place was cosy, plus they had Lion and Twix bars for sale (with cash only!) Coffee tasted like the machine hadn't been cleaned in a while.

Would be harsh to give one star just because of the lady. The views here are simply stunning and it was warm inside.

If you need the bathroom, it's downstairs and they have put a barrier there so you must pay to use during busy periods I guess. I'm sure many people pass through just for a toilet break.

We didn't stay in the hotel so can't...

Porzioni giuste e qualità a nostro dire ottima! Marco

Went to ask at the restaurant at what time the kitchen opens and the lady behind the bar was so rude.. She spoke maybe in German (don’t know), and I didn’t understand.. I spoke in English and in Italian and she was being angry by blowing and saying some words. Then there was a man and he told..
